calling on Illinois. Wisconsin (Wisky) enters
the game ranked 5th in the Nation and
currently are a 1.0 favorite.

The line opened Illinois -3.0 but quickly
has moved to favor the Badgers.

I have seen in a long time.

Squeaked by Iowa and Mich St.

Wiskys run DEFENSE is suspect and Illinois

and play with anyone. Illinois played Wisky tough
last year and almost beat them, this could be
the year that the Illini turn the corner in the Big 10

Here is the way I see this game shaping up
Mr Moone and company.

Illinois runs a Spread Offense with a QB
Williams who is a major threat to run. This
will create yards for the Offense vs Wisky's
Defense.

While Wisky will look to stuff the line
on run defense, Illinois Regis Benn receiver
will stretch 7 wisky defenders opening up
lanes for the running game allowing Illinois'
to control the tempo.

Look for Illinois LineBacker LEMAN (A Dick butkus
nominee this year) to have a break out game
vs Donovan and PJ Hill of the Badgers. Wisky
RB PJ Hill will find it very difficult to run on
the front line of Illinois D. LB Leman of Illinois
averages 12 tacks a game this year.

Turnovers will decide this game, as in every game
If Illinois (IF THE LARGEST WORD IN THE DICTIONARY)
wins the turn over battle they should win this game.

My SB has Ill -2.5. You know, they ought to let the oddsmakers make the top 25 rankings. It's just stupid to have a #5 in the nation an underdog to an unranked team. Meaning, if Wisconsin is actually justified in being the dog, they have no business being #5 in the rankings. And they don't as far as I'm concerned.

Wynn offering the best bang for your buck at

Big Dog of course is a half point worse at -3.0

A Number 5 team vs a un ranked is a 3.0 dog on
the road when is the last time you seen that. ?

I look for the line to drop ...... a 1/2 pt or so
as the big money comes in.....

Its a pickem game for me, Illinois straight up

First, let me say, I truly respect your wisdom on Illini sports events. Also, your willingness to display your calls on a message board with all sorts of characters who come out of the woodwork and support, criticize, and claim they are experts on "plays of the week, month, year, century".

Being out west here and close to route 66 which starts in Chicago and ends in LA, for my kicks on route 66 today the play is the Badgers +2.5. FWIW, it's based on QB play.

Good call. In spite of Whisky outgaining the Illini by 100 yards and running 19 more plays, they lose. Reason, Whisky couldn't stop the Illini running game.

Illinois beats Wisky a # 5 ranked team. This
is the first time Illinois has beat a top 5 team
since 1989............

A look at the game...........

As predicted Illinois ran the ball down the
throat of Wisky, Mendenhall 160 yards 2 tds
(This kids a beast) The Illini racked up 289
yards as a team in the ground game.

Wisky running back PJ Hill found it impossible
running vs Illinois front line as predicted.

Illinois did not turn the ball over one time
a key to winning.
