Dylan I've been reading your Nascar column for years and you have made the races so much more fun to watch. I want to sincerely thank you for taking the time to post your selections up here as you, it's a generous, selfless act and it is appreciated I've only ever played the win bets so this year has been incredible. Thanks man.

A question for you, jlp, or anyone - what's the best/most reliable book available for strictly win odds? the several I use are sorry indeed re: Nascar and I have lagged long enough.

Rebunksous I echo those same words. The NASCAR season has been awesome thanks to Dylans hard work.Regarding odds for win bets i have found that Bodog first thing sunday am (8:30-9:00) odds favorable not tremendous but little more inflated until 11:30am.

I believe that if you were to add one book for NASCAR, it would be pinnacle. Better win odds (at least early), qualifying matchups, and pole win odds.

Thanks for the kind words. Pinnacle would also be my choice if I had to pick one book.

Actually Pinnacle's odds are better on the longshots but for anything under 20/1 I think Olympic and Pinnacle are pretty much the same. Also, Pinnacle has a large field bet while most books list at least 30 drivers. So the hold is a bit inflated at Pinnacle. If for some God Forsaken reason you like Dave Blaney this week you can get 100/1 on him at Olympic. At Pinnacle you're forced to take the 4/1 field bet which has little value.

One thing you have to admit about the greek though is that he is first on board with everything. He generally has lines up Sunday night and the other books generally copy them on Monday. This week Olympic was late with their lines and no other book had odds up either until after Olympic had theirs. Too much of a coincidence if you ask me.
