Illinois travels to Minnesota to play the golden gophers tip off is at high noon Sunday.
Gophers coach Manson is 0-9 vs Illinois.
Illinois carry's a 10 game win streak vs Minny and have won 4 straight on the gophers floor.
The Gophers are tough at home, could be one of the toughest places to play in the big ten as a visitor. They always seem to play the Illini tough.
Minny is 0-8 in Big 10 play this year at home and 2-7-0 ATS at home.
DEFENSE
Defense wins ball games...................
The last three Illinois victories, the Illini have played the best D all season.
VS Penn State holding them to just 21% from the floor (home)
VS Michigan holding them to just 35% from the floor (home)
* VS Indiana holding them to just 31% from the floor (road)
* Indiana did not score in the last 9:53 OF THE GAME)
This is a combined 28% floor defense from the field and just 20% from 3 point land........... Now that's DEFENSE.....
Illinois Defense has cranked it up a notch, the intensity is there as team...
Minny will turn the ball over 15 times at least, they will be smothered at all ends.
My numbers show Illinois by 9 on the road.....
