No big write-up here -- Just a first glance.........My brother called me this morning to ask if I knew what the opening line was on this game..........This was my response:
As a matter of fact I do............That's what I do...........Opened up at USC -9 1/2 and quickly went up to 10 1/2........The O/U opened at 46 1/2 and then dipped all the way down to 44...........Which tells you the obvious, everyone not only knows about USC, but about their gorilla defense as well. Quick Note here..........I'm pretty sure I told you this already, but last weekend, right after USC pummeled the shit out of Virginia on national TV, and when Ohio State was ranked No.2 in the nation at the time, the Vegas bookies put up the line at USC -4 1/2 on a two-week future and the line shot up to 6 in less than a half hour, so they all took it off the board..............Perhaps they wanted to see one more week of action before they reassessed their fuck up.........Well, having seen how Ohio State had the big problems over the weekend before they finally disposed of the Mighty Ohio Bobcats of the Mid-America East Conference 26-14, they re-opened the windows to the tune of USC - 9 1/2...........and even that wasn't enough.................Look for the Trojans to manhandle these slower, weaker foes from the midwest in easy fashion 42-0 or 35-7 .........and don't be surprised if it's worse than that.
