2011 College Game of the Week...................Week 0 Results

Forgot to mention the business about the over/under choice in this year's weekly college contest. As you recall, there was some confusion last week whether it was a "sides" only contest or the "over/under" total score could also be selected.

Just a friendly suggestion - when you post the lines this week, can you clarify this point?

xbig....please remember that, as a representative of Bettorsworld (by virtue of running this contest), your actions reflect on Jeff and the website. Responses such as this reflect poorly on the entire site and could affect future membership/viewers. Just try and be a little mellower....um-kay

I have no idea why we are adding totals this year?? 10 years or so in a row and no totals, but now we have them. Totals move drastically all week. Lines are posted thursday, a total may move 4-5 points by kick-off. Didn't we aregue about line moves before and how you can get 1-2 extra wins per year playing the better number?

2. Sides ONLY!!! Picks MUST be posted by 11:00am (EST) on Game day Saturday. NO EXCEPTIONS !


Heres what the rule stated...above. "ONLY"

On the no action issue...my wagers on the WMU-Mich game was no action like a pitcher chnaage in baseball and thats how it was graded down the vegas strip too from what I read. But that can be ruled on whichever way you want.

As for the late posting, it was tough getting in, but the only way to make sure you do is to post early if you can. Sportsbooks are swamped saturday mornings too, and its sometimes tough to get thru them as well.

So my only real gripe is changing the total rule in the last hour when we had the rules posted weeks before.

Such a classless response from someone that is running a contest (or attempting to).

Swearing and calling out long time posters here is not the answer. Remember something XP this is not your exclusive contest to run it is Bettors World's and this contest could easily go on with out you running it.

Your conduct is unbecoming of a professional and a Leader. I expect you to unleash the hood verbal attack on me also because I asked that you don't attack players like that again.

@ Woodee: Total lines are now posted for every game @ Sheridan's. I posted the rules ONE month before the contest for review, no one hand it any comments. Its a little late now bud, so deal with it. A winner is a winner why do you care if totals are used?

I and 110% of us here do not play this contest for you XP we play for a chance to win some money, you treat this like a carnival booth attraction and your working the booth where people throw nickels onto plates for a chance to win......OMG

@ Carpet: if u know how to read, i suggest u go back to the Aug posts when I said totals would be included. Rule 2 was posted in error. Rule one clearly states that totals are allowed:

1. Players in this contest will post one pick per week using the line listed in the respective Thursday’s edition of the USA today…..SIDES & Totals. If more than one pick is posted the first pick will be used. Editing picks will not be allowed. Once your pick is posted it is official. Saturday games ONLY!!!!!

Carpet, you have also been a historical LOSER in this contest since I started it in 2004. Know ur place and just copy free winners from the Good College Cappers who post winners on a regular basis. BTW dont forget we have a head to head bet for this year in the contest.

You call me a Loser I expected that from you, I went 4-1 last week in games I posted here at BW, the only game I lost was SC-21 as my pick in this contest. So to call me a Loser just shows how really stupid you are.
