smartplayer, thanks for filling in more details. You have to understand how many people come to this forum and make false posts for various ulterior motives.

We were told that Skybook was going away from the use of agents approximately one year ago. What the skeptics of us now have to ask is whether these agents are just sore at Skybok for their new policy, or whether there is cause for concern.

Finally...now let me say this..I have no knowledge of any post-up player not getting paid or any customer not getting paid...that's the great thing about agents..at least the ones who are not degenerates themselves...they always pay the customers..so no one has come out and said skybook did not pay them..now some of you are beginning to understand..i for one thought this forum was for helping others who couldn't possibly know what is going on on the inside......I will again say that I sincerly hope they work out their problems and are standup bookmakers....most bookmakers i know(and it's alot of them)believe it or not are honest..they never want to get a bad rep on not paying or screwing a client...let's hope this all goes away...

sportplayer, i said skybook has more money then God because i know. my associates have received payments of 5 figures from skyboook. i have spoken to all their reps of which have been around for years. i have first hand knowledge of over 25 players playing there and have not had a problem. i know you are talking out of school i hope my fellow posters see thru it to. i wish you luck in your dealings with Lance.he's a stand up guy.

I got a stupid question. As I've announced here many times I'm a small time recreational player whose closest brush with the law was when a cop came by and rang my doorball looking for contributions to the Police Athletic League. I can make some pretty inane statements here reasonably sure I'm not going to be hauled away in cuffs or subpoened to court to testify regarding illegal state and off-shore bookmaking activities. I've thought this over pretty good and decided it's OK to comment on some of the things the way I do even though I may not be right on all issues. Hey ---I'm small potatoes in a world of bigtime movers right here in BW. Here goes.

"BigHands"---I like you very much and I sincerely believe you are a hell of a guy.
But------I'm perplexed at why you divulge so much info about yourself and your activities right here on BettorsWorld ---a public forum we all agree is likely being utilized by the staties and Feds to gather information? Do you really have a comfort zone because you think they'd have no way of tracking you online because they could never figure out what set of "big hands" are yours in a world of a zillion big hands.??

              just wondering....Dot

                Dot!

Almost none of your statements are inane.
All your comments are well thought out and have value. Even when you come after me you usually have something bright and witty to say. Stay well.

5 figure payouts are nothing...you have no idea of the money involved here..your 25 friends playing their come no where close to the business that is written from non post-up players...get a clue and maybe I'll respond too you.

Anyone who becomes an agent for an offshore sportsbook here in the states immediately commits a felony. Ask Jay Cohen what a 1084 violation is. The feds call it the "wire act." It is not worth it. Do not do it. A lot of people here don't trust me. You better trust me here. To make a few extra dollars as an agent is not worth the risk of going to jail & losing all your assets. 900 sales pitches aside, I know what I'm talking about. Don't I Mr. Devil?

Again just curious because of the point Johnny D makes about agents.

Anyone have any idea what all these web-sites and publications advertising for off-shores comes under? It's common knowledge that most of these banners earn deposit commissions to sites that generate the business. Could such a site be construed as an agent?? Doesn't really seem to be any much concern about that as every site has these banners pasted everywhere.

guys/gals......i am well aware of the law in this business. i have been schooled by the best. smartplayer asked if anyone knew if skybook had paid out large payments. i responded. last time i looked it was legal to wager off shore and collect funds. if the govt wants to find out who i am i am sure it would be very easy. i don't dwell on that because i am not breaking any laws and have been told not to because jail is not a nice place to be. if smartplayer is an agent i respect his position but respectfully disagree with his opinions about us and this industry.
dot......in think your a trip. i'd like to be at a crap table with you. thanks.
                            good luck to all.

Dot- you are correct. Any business that receives a commission based on a players or group of players losses, is in violation of the law. They are, in a sense, an agent.

JD----putting the score phone aside, the info and help you've provided here is of major significance and your handicapping is getting better while mine is getting worse.

smartplayer--- I personally don't know for sure what you are, but if you are for real (my gut tells me you are) any finesse you have with the spoken word is hampered severely by what appears to be a short and explosive temper. That in itself however, doesn't neccessarily make you a bad guy.
