I only heard about BHB recently. It today's environment the player needs some track record to justify the postup risk.

They have been around for over a year I believe, maybe two. They have a great track record so far, but I do have a couple questions:

        1. Where did you guys come from? In other words are you older books that combined into a new one? Were you a credit bookie in the states that has just recently moved offshore to take action?

        2. Where are you located? Is it Costa Rica or Panama? If you are in Panama, are you associated with BetPanAm?

        3. Are you associated with any other books?

I think that after some major disasters with even well known books in the past (Aces Gold) that players are very slow to post up with a book they don't know much about. They may be afraid that it is a bunch of defunct books come together to scam again, or that you are just a bunch of college kids that moved offshore to strike it rich. This isn't the case with you guys from what I hear, but unfortunately in this day and age you have to spend a lot of time convincing people.

We've been in business now for about six years. This being the second year we advertised openly to the public, websites, sports annuals, newspapers, etc. We were more of a private company that catered to big name clients. All pretty much came from referrals and sponsoring high scale charity events, involving sportsbars, volleyball/golf tournaments, etc. Last year we merged with "the big MVP."
We were based out of Costa Rica. We have our customer service and marketing offices still here in CR. We recently moved our wagering floor to Panama. There is no association with BetPanAm.
          Hope this helps.

No replies because this site is dead. People have left like the Dunes did with the players money.

Suggest you try other sites to peddle your sportsbook.

            In no order

            majorwager.com
            prescription.com
            freaksforum.com
            crazypick.com
            beatthebookie.com

            Try those instead.

AND TO THE QUESTION ASKED. I LIKE A VERY GOOD V.I.P PROGRAM AND WESTERN UNION FEES PAID AT 100.00 OR MORE. JUST BECAUSE IM NOT RICH AND 100 TO SEND A WEEK AND 15 IN FEES IS JUST ENOUGH TO PISS THE OLD LADY IN HALF. SO IF I TAKE A CHANCE TO FACE MY OLD LADY, PAY THE FEES AND SAY THATS PART OF V.I.P. , THANK YOU JOHN(A LITTLE GAMBLER).

              DO U LIKE MY RESPONSE????????????//

I JUST LOOKED AT YOUR SITE. BOTTOM LINE ISYOU HAVE TO MANY ILLEGAL LINES IF THE BET IS ILLEGAL IT SHOULD NOT ACCEPT IT. I FOR ONE WILL NOT SIT TO SEE IF IT IS ILLEGAL FOR MY BET. IF YOU WONT ACCEPT IT YOU SHOULDNT ACCEPT THE BET. I SUGGEST YOU SIT DOWN WITH YOUR PROGRAMER, TO SEE WHAT CAN BE DONE. UNTIL THEN I WILL NOT DEPOSITE. BUT FAR FROM THAT ITS A GOOD SITE. THANK YOU

                  JOHN

                        Got bookie?

Honestly, I think your early ad campaigns with Pauly Shore may have scared people off. With all due respect to Mr. Shore and his film and TV oeuvre I don't know if he has a lot of "grip" with the sports gambling public. It was like during the big cigar boom years a few years back--getting a celebrity to endorse your cigars was a kiss of death among cigar hardcores. Now I know that whether you have Pauly Shore, Henry Kissinger, or Ron Jeremy promoting your book it doesn't reflect on the quality of your outfit, but that is the reaction that a number of people I've spoken to had.

You guys did send me a kick ass "Got Bookie" t-shirt. Great shirt, but it was too small for me and I had to give it to my little sister.

The new BNB website looks great--I'm a big fan of the red and white color scheme and use it on my own sites.

Also, the media props are a great touch. I wish more books would post unique propositions like this--its not only fun to handicap but is a good way of setting yourself apart from the crowd. I know that I'm always referring people to the books that offer unique wagering offers--like 5 Dimes (with 1-AA football) and Olympic.

Just my 2 cents worth, but were I running a book and didn't have the resources to go toe to toe with the BetOnSports.com's of the world in terms of advertising and marketing expenditures I'd look for a niche market and fill it. Obviously you want to provide first rate customer service, prompt payouts and that sort of stuff but the best way IMO to develop a "rep" among serious sports gambling types is to offer something unique that other books don't.

                        In any case, good luck!
