St Johns, Antigua (OCTOBER 2003) – Internet bookmaker Intertops.com announce a big winner on the Marlins to win the World Series.
The Florida Marlins were the underdogs at the start of the season at 125/1. They made to the World Series where they surprised everyone when they won game six on Sunday in New York 2–0 taking the Series at 4–2.
