  • This one is for the books!

I know a lot of BMs or managers or owners of the books will read here everyday, I've got some suggestions for you guys.

American Football season is coming in less than a month (pre-season). Its one of the most important time to grab some new customers right now. Its a slow season and you've got to be innovative.

Just copy your lines from each others is not what a BM's job should be.

Please think about giving some football props for the coming football season. Here are some suggestions,

    a) We've all seen the season win totals prop for the teams, how about win total matchups? eg., Giants Vs Jets? rivals such as Steelers Vs Browns? Packers Vs 49ers? etc. Remember, there are more "fans" bettors in football than any other sports, such props will be welcomed by this group of bettors.

    b) We've seen the Super Bowl and AFC/NFC title prop, how about wild card props?

    c) How about individual props? eg., Season Rushing TDs/yards, Anderson Vs Davis? Season Receiving TDs/yards, Freeman Vs Owen? Or even sacks, INTs, QB's matchups, Kickers total points, etc.

    d) Which new coach will be fired first?

    e) Over/Under of TDs scored in all MNF games? Scoring totals matchup between Sunday night football games and MNF?

    More and more...

Believe it or not, even you may not have a lot of bets from your customers on these props, BUT you will difinitely get your some new accounts and you will be mentioned by a lot of players here and elsewhere for a while, isn't it a good marketing idea?

Why pay your BM as just being a copy cat?

    Think about it!

Listen to what you just said,

    "think about it"

    They would have to think!!

But it is a great idea......

Ray, FWIW, that is what sets Intertops and World Sports Exchange apart from the rest.

      Intertops:

      -CART Odds
      -F1 matchups
-Parlay NASCAR matchups (which differ from other books)
      -South American soccer lines
-Correct score prediction on every soccer game
      -Rugby and Cricket
      -European Tour golf
-Non Sports bets - i.e. stock market props, cinema props, presidential props etc.
-Other sports bets - i.e. cycling, motorcycle racing etc.
-Teasers on CFL and Arena football
-Parlay totals and run lines in baseball
-Parlay any bets on any sports that are matchups
      - Grand Salami on hockey games
      - Future betting on all Major G1 Stakes in North America and Europe
      - etc. etc.

      World Sports Exchange:

      - Total base matchups on baseball
      - Scoring props on basketball and football
      - Interactive (betting on the run) on all sports including golf, baseball, football and basketball (even had tennis) plus ability to bet on next at bat.
      - Futures markets, allow you to buy and sell throughout the year (had you bought the Jays at $2 3 weeks ago you could now quadruple your money by selling it).
      - Teasers up to 8 points on NFL games
      - Action points on NFL(allows you to make a ton of money if team wins by a large margin).
      - Conditional bets, so you can parlay a bet without having to worry about time discrepencies.
      - Horse racing at all major tracks
      etc. etc.

These 2 books IMO, stand out above the rest because of bet offers and when anyone asks me which book to sign up with I always tell them either Intertops or World Sports Exchange and I have yet to have anyone tell me that they were disappointed.

we'll give Intertops some points for offering lots of obscure European soccer too, Austria, Iceland! Has got better recently, it seems - and correct score dodge for every game is cool, if you like that sort of thing.

however, have seen worldbet delve into the dodginess of Eastern Europe here with Russia, Poland and they have a link saying Czech coming soon...

          Ray,
Look for all of the props you previously mentioned plus many more at www.5dimes.com
5dimes will be open in time for preseason football. 5dimes will be THE prop sportsbook. Keep a look out.

Bookybashr, I never heard of it. Is that another new starnet book?

No, 5dimes is not a starnet book. I will make a post the day 5dimes is operational. I think you will really like the betting options available with this book. "New and Innovative" is all I can say now to describe it.

If betting on soccer is your thing, then you have to be crazy not to have an account with VC.

Soccer betting options set this book apart from the rest. By far...
