  • Thought of the day on withdrawals from sportsbooks

I havent written on here in awhile, so I thought id post a topic that just makes me want to scream. WITHDRAWAL FEES!!! I believe that all online sportsbooks should offer at least one free withdrawal per calendar month even if the stipulation is $500 or more at least they are offering you a free withdrawal, I use neteller and recently cashed out from a sportsbook I had signed up with a couple weeks ago for the first time, the cost for a 1500 w/d is the same for a 100 w/d or a 10000 w/d it's a flat fee of $15, effectively this is like adding 1%-3% to the vig for a relatively small bettor like myself that makes my cash outs generally for 500-1500, I understand the costs neteller charges the merchant to do such transactions but offering a once a month 500 min. w/d seems to me to be, to borrow jeffs fav. catch phrase, the cost of doing business and not offering even one free withdrawal per calendar month is a good way to run off small time bettors such as myself, especially when it is not clearly outlined that any w/ds are 15 bucks a piece when ur signing up so the bettor can decide whether he is willing to pay 15 bucks whenever he wants his bookie to pay off his winnings. Any thoughts??

I agree. I won't play at a book that doesn't at least offer one free withdrawal per month.

Which book are you referring to that charges you each and every time? I thought they all had at least one free wd?

I have only encountered it at the one so far, betmill.com (Millenium Sports), if there are others please let me know in advance, thanks for the help cause paying the vig is all the sportsbettor should have to pay in my opinion or else it defeats the purpose of internet betting if im gonna have to pay extra if i happen to get lucky and win, and the vig is all im willing to pay, hidden fees like the lil $15 pop from betmill just really piss me off on principle quite frankly
