I recently heard a bettor in Europe placed the largest single wager in history on Europe to win the Ryder Cup, somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 million US dollars, can anyone verify this and what organization could book a SINGLE bet that large, I mean I know that on the Super Bowl much more money is wagered but that's numerous bets giving the casino the ability to balance out the wagering, anyway would just like some information as I am curious, post if u know anything about this, thx.

No one place could book that bet. It would have to be spread across numerous places and even then it's doubtful he could get 50 million down.

I think I read where ladbrokes or william hill took 600k from one guy on the ryder cup.....e bet on the US.
