  • thebigbook.com's "free" $20

Anyone had any luck getting a payout after running their free $20? I'm at about $150 and I may cash out real soon. My concern is that I get the run around, and I'm just wondering if anyone has gone through this before. I'm not really overly concerned either way, but I have had fun playing with them, and I just don't want to be disappointed.

What kind of run-a-round. Would you be more descriptive of this problem .

I thought all deposits and winnings were held by a neutral money holder called "E-BANX" out of Canada. I thought this was a great idea, and the impression BIG BOOK conveys is that any withdrawells are between the client and E-Banx. Unless , of course, ---E-BANX is the BIG BOOK?? The way they describe it is if it ($$$) is in your account simply contact E_BANX and it is on its way!

Sounds like thats not quite the story!

I've used the big book off and on and have not had any problems. I received money when I requested it and had no problems getting the $20 upon signing up. My problems with the big book is they have low betting limits($500) and unfavorable lines, but they do offer credit card internet betting.

I'm not sure if Ebanx is truly independent or not. I have never seen Ebanx with any other operation, and did not ever hear anything about them until thebigbook came online. I'm not saying that the process is not hassle free, I'm just wondering wether or not it is. (I've never requested a payout). It is curiousity more than anything.

I don't play with them anymore because of the low limits and lack of betting options, however I had no problems with payouts. One positive, is that depositing by credit card takes only about 15 seconds and your funds are immediately in your account.

Ebanx is also with GrandPrix Sportsbook and a few others. They are legitimately an independant operation. HOWEVER, this "online bank" is not backed by any type of insurance and is just as likely to shut down as the Big Book or any other sportsbook. BOTTOM LINE: misleading and I don't trust it at all. -Ryan

Although I stopped playing at GrandPrix and BigBook (the two eBanx books), payouts were never a problem (it was rather the 20-cent baseball lines and $20 minimums on weekends).
Checks were received a week after requested, for only a $5 fee. I ran the $20 at BigBook to over a hundred, and got a complete payout with no hassles. I wouldn't worry about collecting -- just don't bet it down to zero if your luck turns!

The Big Book and Grand Prix are books run by a company called Cyberroad.com which trades under the symbol FUNN. I consider the eBanx system nothing more than a clever gimmick to lure customers in. Cyberroad.com appears to be the only operation that utilizes such a system. With that said, I've heard pretty good things about the Big Book even though i was supect at first.
