As we all know there is the good NASA and the bad NASA (see Sting's column for details). Upon mentioning betonsports.com as a good bet I was told in an e-mail that nasasportsbook is just as good (although they are known as the bad NASA).

Confused as hell, I checked out whois and

betonsports.com, nasasportsbook.com, nasasport.com, nasasports.com et. al, all have the same contact person

    - Carlos Chamberlain with the same e-mail and telephone.

So what's up with trying to differentiate them?

    Did I miss something?

If I'm not mistaken, NASA used to be in Antigua and moved to DR and used to be affiliated with Sports Market. They just don't get tired of sending me mails regarding 10% bonus for initial deposit,15% refer a friend and 20% bonus backed to your account if you lose. In my own opinion, the good, the bad and the ugly don't make any difference if the contact person is "the same".

Recently signed up with NASA Sportsbook and that 10% bonus was actually a 10% matchplay.
Be curious to know if anyone has ever actually collected the 20% of losses. I recall a post hear a while back from someone who was having difficulty collecting

Had an account shortly with one of the NASA's nothing to brag about. If they can't clear up who's who why should I? To many good shops to frock with either one unless somebody with more time than me says enough already! This isn't converting metric to American.

          Attention:
Sports-Market/Acesgoldcasino has never been affiliated with NASA.

            randyrohm,

I absolutely agree with you. I have heard so many conflicting reports about NASA, the difference between the good NASA and the bad NASA, how to tell the difference, the intangibles of how this came to be, etc etc. If the "good" NASA wanted to distinguish themselves from the "bad" NASA bad enough, they would change their name, send their customers an explanation of the change, and move on. If my mother had the notion to name me "Adolph" upon my birth, I would change my name as soon as I could legally do so. Pardon the pun, but this isn't rocket science.

Junior it seems to me that if the contact person is the same then the same people own both places and hence the "good" vs. "bad" is just a scam to give them an out.

Obviously if Carlos Chamberlain with the e-mail address of "[email protected]" is the same as Carlos Chamberlain with the e-mail address "[email protected]" - they have the same address and telephone number, then by deduction betonsports.com (the good NASA) is the same sportsbook as nasasportsbook.com (the bad NASA).

              Or am I missing something?

Could it be that they both are using the same guy for their website design and programing? As nasty as the break-up was, I don't think there is any chance that the two NASA's are the same. They probably just do business with some of the same people. I can tell you for a fact that Carlos is not the owner of either book.

Never Played with NASA Int. and I know nothing about past complaints.

I did have the opportunity to take a tour of there new facility in CR. I have seen many operations and by far this is the largest facility I have ever seen. There are over 300 clerk stations on 1 floor. There is two floors total. Indoor shooting Range, Gym, Daycare Center for employees and much more.

The communications System is state of the art the best that Money can buy.

The operation is definatly a serious one.

                    just FYI

                        DOG7

a little harsh in my opinion. I don't have a NASA account, don't plan on opening one. However it wouldn't surprise me if NASA really did have an operation like the guy described.

I mean consider their advertising budget, look at all the ads they are placing its obvious they have some cash.

Whether this cash comes from the fact that they run two books one of which stiffs winners, i am not sure

                        the brothers have a budget!

phaedrus - in response to your comment, I didn't mean to be harshed. I am not saying that NASA is not capable of paying but let me ask you something my friend. Who has the biggest and most respected operation in Costa Rica? First thing it will come to your mind is CRIS. And do you know how many clerks CRIS has on a peak season like now. 80 clerks. Who used to be the second biggest and most respected but doesn't exist anymore? If you had been with offshore for the past 3 years and you thought of Costa Rica, SDB GLOBAL should be one of your top lists. How many clerks did they have? Less than a hundred. Now, Check One is talking about 300 clerks. So from what I understood, NASA who came from a bad reputation and trying to catch up with their losses has bigger operation than CRIS? You dont need a rocket science to figure that out. Of course, they will spend a lot of money in advertisements, flyers, bonuses, etc. That is just plain and simple. Good luck to you anyway.

Check One they have an indoor shooting range?

I think I'd better take back everything I said.

That was really funny, Hartley. Not only that, they have a day care center. I might buy that one.

Just a reminder. If anyone wants to have a comment good or bad about a certain shop, please make it within range. I meant, at least "believable". But 300 clerks, PLEASSSEEE!
