    Way to go Sportingbet. It's unfortunate that this situation puts sportsbooks in a sorta damned if you do, damned if you don't dilemna.

    From a pure fan point of view, I hope they reinstate, as this would sure set up a really exciting climax to the season at the Japan GP. Which as AV2 so correctly points out, would generate huge bucks and TV ratings for F1.

    One outcome I've heard tossed around is that FIA may reinstate their drivers' points, but not their constructors. Apparently that sort of resolution has occured previously.

      Joanne very classy move. I'm impressed.

      I didn't realize that Bowman's paid on Hakkinen. Too bad, I had Herbert as part of the field bet at 50-1 and he would have been declared the winner had he held off Hakkinen with 2 laps to go. I wonder if he would have let Hakkinen pass so easily if he realized he had a chance at the victory. I guess we'll never know

        had exactly the same bet, for $100 at 50:1 as a hedge on the red boys. too bad about that last lap with Mika...
