Victor Chandler Soccer Limits

Hi there,

I have just signed up with Victor Chandler about a month ago after hearing so much good about them and their high betting limits.

I am by no way a big gambler but they have already started to cut down on my stakes.

I just tried to place a £ 800,- bet on total goals in Inter - AC Milan at 4-5. To my big surprise they would only take £ 400,-!!??!!

This means that a risk of loosing £ 640,- from my £ 800,- bet was more than they could risk!! Sounds pretty strange to me!!

Perhaps someone could let me know of a sportsbook with higher limits.

Apart from this, Victor Chandler has one of the finest services out there and I wouldn't hestitate to recommend them to other gamblers.

Sounds strange to me also. Did you open up with the UK/European section or the U.S one?

This sounds a trifle unusual, esp. on the most anticipated match of the weekend in Serie A. Have you talked to Chris or Gregg there about this? If not, call them back and ask to speak to Chris or Gregg. If you have the requisite funds on deposit I don't think VC will back away from stakes of 800 quid.

Just talked to Mark from Victor Chandler.

He gave me a rather weak explanation,that they had taken a lot of bets on total goals at 4-5 and wouldn't risk more!!

For some strange reason, however, they still offer 4-5!

I have an unpleasent feeling that they turned me down simply because I have had a lucky midweek run on some European soccer matches.

I had hoped Victor Chandler would be different from the small obscure Caribbean bookies.

let's see next week if the same happens when I try to bet again.

I play football and baseball, didn't have any problem on "limits" with VC. I am surprised.

I have spoken to Mark and he explained that they had seen a considerable amount of one way action for that game.
