  • abc and sports market

    here's my 2 cents and maybe that's all it's worth...but i'm no shill

sports market is 1st class, polite, on time with payments, no games, respectable gambling folk, a pleasure to deal with

abc will cut your limits down if you beat them to moves or beat them period, make your betting life miserable, "hold for this, hold for that" kind of crap....who needs it.

feel don best ought to knock abc out of the box and put a more serious player on the screen....it gives abc credibility they don't deserve.

Sport Market is outstanding in every way, with no weaknesses. ABC, which I touted earlier in the baseball season, did seem to go downhill during the latter portion of baseball. Limits were lowered, and I my calls were transferred, which may have been a stall tactic. (They said it was a phone problem.) Nonetheless, most of the Don Best books have weaknesses of one sort or another, and ABC, in my opinion, is still, overall, a good book that deserves to be on the Don Best screen.

          To cashusking:

          1) Yes, we do put games on hold. However we do not move a number without taking a hit. Sometimes when we get double popped, we may take two full limit wagers or cut each wager in half.( this is what you may mean by cutting your limits down) Our policy here is first come first serve.

            2) As for throwing out customers, never once has anyone been thrown out for winning too much or beating the moves to the screen. We do our best to accommodate the recreational bettor as well as the sharp player. This is one good reason why we are on the Don Best screen, along with the fact that we do not profile our customers. Everyone gets the same line whether you are considered a wiseguy or a square, especially since we advertise our numbers to the public on the DB screen.

            3) As far as limits are concerned, everyone is guaranteed a certain amount, no surprises. There are times players ask for more and we always do our best to fill those orders.

It sounds like you have had a bad experience dealing with our company and I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to give me a call, so that we can iron out any issues you may have.

            To Reno:

This summer we were in the process of changing our phone system and I'm sorry for the inconvenience. It was a good time to upgrade the system and enhance it for football season. I know you don't do much with the football but if you call now you will see our service improvements and it will be intact for next baseball season.

              To Cashusking:

              Here are our limits

              NFL 10,000 sides
              5,000 totals
              NCAA 3,000 sides
              1,000 totals
              NBA 5,000 sides
              1,000 totals

You can always ask for more and we will do our best to accommodate you.

p.s. We also do sportsbook to sportsbook transfers for our customers and have no problems with clients that want us to send their funds to Sports Market or Skybook. Both operations have quality reputations.

              Thanks
              Sam

I read a reply of yours that you found it hard to believe a customer had to wait 4 weeks to get paid from Skybook. I liked the reply. Actually it is impossible to believe. We pay all our customers as you know if you have an account with us, the same way all the other books do. The payouts are processed and sent as as soon as the bank recieves them

I had a falling out with Sports-Market a couple of years ago over a misunderstanding, but as far as an operation I haven't heard one bad thing about them. And truth is that Sports Market (or acesgoldcasino) have proven to be reputable over a long period of time.

I personally don't have an account with them but a friend of mine does (he continued on with them after winning some money in a preseason football contest when they opened up) and he thinks they are the best book going. He generally bets football only, at about $1,000 a week and he told me he has never had a problem and any disputes are always settled fairly and quickly.

You can't ask for more than that.
