  • Big Book Is Slow Paying Me

Regarding the big book, they sent me an e-mail saying they are updating their software and I guess they had a few problems doing so. I did receive a check from them last week and it took them 3 weeks from the time I requested it. With their software problems you might want to look elsewhere until it gets fixed or have a lot of patience. They are experiencing a lot of growing pains. As for your money, have patience it will arrive soon.

Just got form letter e-mail stating their betting site is now formally down because of "E-Banx" computer problem. I've had problems the past couple days which they acnowledged with form letters that they had an intermittent problem.

I signed up with them because I liked their e-banx setup which appears to be on the up-and up. I ---like many others--took advantage of their $20 free wagering offer which in retrospect is one of the greatest marketing strategies I've seen. I opened an account with their free $20 and found I liked their site and liked some of their numbers. I promply lost my $20 kitty and re-upped with many times that amount because I felt comfortable after trying the site out and they cleared my credit card in about 20 seconds. I guess I'm a sucker for that free stuff LOL. I've had four gambling friends that signed up with them when I mentioned the promotion and all have since refueled their accounts. I opened one persons account from my computer with the $20 "freebee" while they were visiting us on a Sunday afternoon. I went into my account the other day and it had about $150 of "BIG BOOK FREE CHIPS" that somehow I earned when my referrals wagered x amount of money. I don't understand it exactly but it was a nice suprise. This was money credited to my account in addition to the original finders fee for my referrals. I like their operation, but the biggest problem now is I think they have too much business and have probably cornered the market on "average Joe" players. Their $500 limits preclude the "heavy hitters"

Hope the tardiness of getting your money is because of computer glitches with new system and backlog at e-banx because of volume they are doing. 3weeks seems very un-nerving though. I thought e-banx would mail overnite if requested?

Big Book Is Slow Paying Me

I won a bet on the Falcons vs. Pittsburgh last Monday night. Tuesday morning I tried to request a cashout. Nope. Site being updated. Could'nt they have done this starting Tuesday afternoon to allow people to get cashout requests in? Its next monday and despite my repeated attempts to collect I have not heard from them at all. I am totally fed up. I have called and e-mailed ebanx and the big book to no avail. I have no idea what the delay is. I have received no help at all on the phone calls and 3 or 4 e-mails I have sent have generated no response. I am not too sure this book belongs on "The List" , if it is still there.
To me, it seems as if they decided to hold onto my money and anyone elses who wanted cashouts last week by taking the site down before anyone could ask for a cashout. Is anyone else having problems?
I hate the new site, when its working. Its slow and cumbersome. The old site was easier to navigate. Why would they pick the middle of football season for an overhaul and handling problems bound to erupt because of it? Could'nt they have picked a better time?
I want my cashout!! Its been 6 days.

During their week of updates I have made several plays over the phone. Certainly they are feeling some growing pains, hopefully that is all they are. My plays were slow to get updated but to their credit they were deligent in getting my account straight. Let us know when you are paid.

Ok here goes. When I first saw the sites with e-banx it seemed on the up and up to me also. Then I though WAIT A MINUTE!! My money is no safer with e-banx than it is with XYZ Sportsbook. They are not FDIC insured and definitely have not been established for a long time. Sportsbooks use them to create the IMAGE of a safer place for your money and it works. The word "bank" works wonders for them. All of the sudden everyone feels all cozy and safe because their money is held by a so-called "bank". It's ridiculous. What would make one trust e-banx over the new sportsbooks that pop up on the net overnight?
