Although i don't often post here, I try to visit often to find the better books out there and I decided to try Casablanca yesterday based on the write-up on the main page here at betterswold. To say the least i
was terribly dissapointed!! If they claim to be the #1 book out there they are sadly mistaken. This is what happend yesterday:
I called them to sign-up since i cannot do it over the net...no problem.This was around 1pm.They game me the instructions on sending them my initial post up through WU. Since i was sending 500 bucks they said they would pay the transfer fee and give me a free $50 parlay.I thought that was great!! After i sent them the funds i called back to get my password and id number.NO-won't happen turns out i gotta wait 30mins for them to process and get my acc # and id. Ok i though i guess i'll just wait a little longer. NO-problem.This happend at about 2pm. I called back at 2:30 and i got my password and id. Finally i was ready to log on and place my bet!! I was told i could place a bet over the phone or the net and i wanted to give thier software a try. Didn't happen. Turns out i could't get in the system.
I called back and they said to wait about 15 minutes and try again. I did. No luck again!!
At this time i was beggining to get frustrated. It was now 3pm and i still had not been able to place a bet. I called back and was told to wait another 30 mins because their internet system was down!! NO way i thought!!! I asked to be redirected to the phone wagering system so i could just place my bet and get this over with!! I did and it turns out that my id and password were invalid!! After being redirected to customer service i gave my name and personal info and was then told i had the wrong id and passowrd.At this time i was upset!! The guy asked me if he could redirect me to the phone wagering and i told him i'd give the net another try.Not really wanting to speak to anymore tellers.He also gave my acc balance sans the WU fee!! When i asked about this he put me on hold and when he came back he added it to my acc stating "it was an oversight" big surprise there!! After getting everything
squared away i finally logged on and was finally able to place my bet!! This whole process took almost 3hrs. Hardly world class!! I've opened accounts at AcesGold and
Easybets and placed my wagers in 30mins.Casablanca may offer all those great comps, but i'm not in it to get points by placing wagers and getting rewards. I want a place that is easy to deal with and won't make mistakes and pays out in a timely fashion. Casablanca has failed in this the first test.By the way i had the jets +6 last night for 500 so now i'll see how fast they pay out!!
