  • INTERNET HELP

We are in the process of going online. I assume that the online books have different wager limits from if you bet them online or over the phone. Am I correct? What are the normal online limits , and who has the highest?
    Thanks Steve

Glad to hear it. I'll be signing up.

I doubt anyone has higher online limits than Aces Gold.

WSEX also has high limits - although over a dime or two you have to wait for online approval.

If I ran a phone book only, and planned on going online, I would sign up with all of the top shops and give em a workout. That's the only way you'd be able to make a judgement as far as which direction to go in......

Steve, Here's my suggestion. These are reasonable limits for a book of your size.
NFL: $20K sides, $5K totals; NCAAF: $10K sides, $3K totals; NBA/NHL/NCAAB/Boxing/MLB/ALL HALVES: sides $5K, totals $2K. What you have to decide is if you will shutout a player after a limit bet. Some books allow 1 hit, others 2 hits, a few books allow unlimited hits. Naturally the line will keep moving after multiple limit bets. Make this clear on your site on how many hits you will take. Good Luck.

What online books have those limits. Do you have to wait for online approval ?
                    Thanks Steve

WSEX takes has those side limits, subject to approval. They are the only book I've seen with "subject to approval" bets. They don't take much on totals. You can check their limits even if you don't have an account. Just click on a game. Olympic takes $2200 on just about everything....that includes moneylines. So if you want to lay -400 the limit is 2200 to win 550. If you took a +400 dog you could bet 2200 to win 8800. WWTS takes 5K/3K on NFL, 2K/1K on NBA.

Why would you suggest we take 20k and 10k on sides if your telling me other books like olympic take 2k
                        Im confused

Cons: Victor Chandler is not online I do not believe.

Olympic has a $2200 limit bet on almost everything. You cannot make another bet unless the line moves.

Again, no one has higher limits than Aces Gold. Go to their website and access their "limits" page.

Since your telephone limits are as high (or higher) than anyone else, I figured that was reasonable. $20K is a bit much, $5K is still a high online limit for anything.
