Can anyone recommend a book, besides Olympic, offering moneylines on most or all college basketball games (not just the televised, marquee games).
Thanks.
Sergius, Can't say that I blame you asking for someone to vouch. I can say that these guys were in business in the same building were I worked for two years some of them including the the owner are personal friends of mine. I have never heard any cross words from any of them about anything. Really don't need to say much more if I was looking for another out I wouldn't hesitate at all to post up with this out. Very nice group of people and very knowledgeable.
oh yeah, Megasports has them - but it appears to be on games that are 'close' pointspreadwise - not sure I understand why US bookmaker/sports types won't have moneylines on big favorites - are they worried about someone getting a big underdog win, or someone dropping a lot on a 'sure thing' - which you can't do anyway if their limits are a few thousand in general?
Can't see why any place is scared of laying $1.10 favourites. So what, someone pops 10 large on to win a grand. Take bits and pieces on the other side at $7 or so, and then if your odds are right, at least one time in eleven, the fave will go down. Might be different in North America, but down here, most players just take the favourites straight out, we're not a spread/line-oriented gambling fraternity down here.
Ok, Boris, they have answered, it is an accountant's decision
the tax on turnover for Megasports doesn't leave them sufficient margin at worse than 1.09 favorites apparently, so I am guessing that is similar most places (btw, they emailed me from posting here, dunno why they bother reading what smalltime me says )
still, they bothered to answer, so another tick on their side
but AFAIK, Darwin is similar, so Centrebet does it because their lines are 1.90 perhaps, so they soak up the extra percentage by having crappier lines?
Centrebet has spoiled our fun though, they have removed college basketball due to 'lack of interest', which does make sense if they are cracking down on their septic customers, as not many others would be interested......
