Big Book and Grand Prix are defiinately one in the same. I've been paid by both. I've never heard anyone say they haven't. I've been put an phone only but the lines don't seem to differ. They can be a pain , but their numbers can be attractive.
They use the same software, same phone clerks, BUT they do post different numbers. They are connected in that way, but may in fact, be owned by different people. As long as they post different numbers, I couldn't care less what their ownership papers say. AND they both pay, so other than the usual software problems with Big Book, I have no other complaints about these 2.
Both are Cyberoads books. Be careful here, they need to straighten out what appears to be an internal conflict before you even consider these guys. Big Book has stated they will only respond to negative posts once everything has been cleared up with them. HUH?????? A smart business would admit there are problems and address issues ASAP before they get out of hand as they have already. Playing with this book would be like playing Russian Roulette and to some that's a turnon I suppose. Cyberoads was recently delisted. A lot of shady stuff going on behind the scenes. Albeit, I've spoken to two webmasters who have told me this company was very much legit....and NOW they too are concerned.
TOO MANY QUESTION MARKS. Let them address questions before you give them any of their money. That's my advice. Hope this helps. I have not heard anything about nonpayment as of yet.
When I said the lines don't differ I meant from the internet to the phone. Big Book and Grand Prix lines do differ as stated above. I havent had money there for awhile so it might be interesting to see if they only let me play on the phone if I re-up with them again.
Fred, my understanding having spoken to others is that the relationship is more than just these books using the Cyberoads software. I believe they all operate out of the same office, except for Mayan (which is in Dominica)...one of those types of deals.
The Big Book and Grand Prix Sports are the same. Although I have never heard of anybody not getting payed there are complaints on everything else. I had an account with them, I won like $5000 in like 2 days (trust just a lucky shot) and all of a sudden my internet account got closed and I could only bet through the phone. When I was able to get through there phones I got transefered to a supervisor which in turn placed me on hold while they adjusted the lines for me. I am sorry but that is not a profesional book. Give me a break for 5dimes in 2 days they are worry about me? what kind of book is that? I.m sorry but not a stable and solid book.
And for the relationship of Grand Prix Sports and The Big Book all I have to say is this:
Buy the magazine "Buzz Daly's 1999 Players Guide to Las Vegas Sports Books" go to page 137. Here you will find Grand Prix Sports and all the info you want on it, (phone #, web site, max/min. etc) and on comments they write this (Grand Prix themselves wrote) "Uses the secure eBanx system. Open an account with eBanx, wager with THE BIG BOOK. When you win, your money is instantly deposited into your eBanx account. The sports book never touches your money unless they earn it."
Ok so Grand Prix is saying to go open an account with The Big Book? And in page 132 we have the info on The Big Book and guess what? The comments says the same thing as Grand Prix, word for word.
For me all this lying and covering up and behind the scenes movements, is enough for me to go to a reliable book that also pays and I know I am not taking chances like those books.
And guess what else Phantom, Cyberoads (the parent company) BOUGHT ebanx although there was every indication that they already OWNED ebanx to begin with. Essentially they bought themselves....and the book never touches that money? Gimme a break.
Those who run Bettorsworld do NOT have a good relationship with either of these two books...so that might tell you something also.
