  • Who posts "THE LINE"?

For the last couple of years I have gone by the Stardust's opening line to measure teams success against the opening line, I find this to be a great help in capping. However it seems that the line isn't as sharp as in the past and I am wondering if anyone else has an opinion on the sharpest opening line out there, vegas or otherwise.

The Caribi line, included on the Don Best Feed and available on their website in delayed form for free, has long been considered THE line.

Since a new Caribi seems to have formed, it remains to be seen who will have the best line. For tracking data, either should be solid.

For football the Stardust is the opening line. For other sports use the offshore openers from CRIS or Olympic.

Thanks, does Caribi or CRIS have websites? If so would anyone mind posting their url.

neither place has a web site with live lines
(i assume this is what you're looking for)

You need to get the feed. (don best live lines, especially if you're betting.

If you're not betting and just
want to get the end-of-the-day lines,
Bettorsworld has the delayed Island Express
feed which includes the Cris line.

A sportsbook's line is only as sharp as the customers they have playing into it. The opening lines are not that sharp, they only get sharp after the clients start to play it.
Each book's lines move with their own clients . If you have no sharp players your line might be thought weak, but it's just to even the stands. Who is to say what line is sharp and who's is not?

well, here it is not so clear

Sportodds, for instance, had AFL Round 1 games up for a while, and Centrebet seemed to get their NRL Round 1 odds up first, so it would be out of those two
