  • beating bad bookies

check this out- i am in touch with a bookie around here who is VERY beatable, slow line changes, fave bias, high limits, dumb clientele. only problem is he takes the vig on pushes. i read somewhere exactly how much that is worth, but can't locate it. is it still worth it to pursue the opportunity?

So if you push on a $100 bet you owe $10? That shouldn't be tough to overcome if he's dealing weak lines. Maybe compare that to laying -111 or -112 on strait bets.

You can play all you want. I put it at -110.75 to -111.25 to win 100.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT play hockey with this guy, especially is he uses American (puck) lines.

thanks for the help. i figured it would be a little higher than that, especially if i'm betting around key#s in football. but even -115 with this guy would not be hard to beat, in my opinion.

and no pucks for me, with this guy or any other =)
