  • Major offshore Super Bowl losses

The Pre-scription is reporting that the biggest offshore loser on the Super Bowl was Pelican Sports (on the Don Best feed now). They lost $1.7 million!

    Intertops lost $1.4 million!

Carib must have lost a fortune too as they took alot of bets at Rams -6 1/2 and Tenn +7.

Yet Vegas WON $4.2 million on the Super Bowl - primarily because they offered "ties lose" parlay cards!

All I have to say is that Vegas has got to have the dumbest gamblers in the world to have lost $4.2 million on this Super Bowl!

Well, I suppose that it wasn't the best superbowl weekend for any of the books out there. I haven't heard of Pelican sports before, but out of the books mentioned I'd be most happy being with Intertops, because they are probably the largest sportsbook in the Caribbean. In times like these it's good to be with the big books that have the biggest bucks behind them.

BTW, last year British books took a big, big hit when Man Utd (the biggest sports franchise in the world, valued at over one BILLION $!) won everything there is to win. Seems like a bad run for the industry overall... but don't worry, the big boys will shrug this off as if nothing happened.
