  • Grand Prix And Big Book

Have to tell you, I have read that Grand Prix And Big Book are owned by the same company,
but if so, I can't understand how Grand Prix is so efficient and Big Book so awful.
I only opened an account at Grand Prix for Super Bowl because they had a great money line on the Rams(-200) while other books were as high as -260, and to be honest didn't think I would stay long, but I have found myself giving them more and more action because their software is so simple and easy to use. Placing a bet at the Big Book on the other hand is just about impossible. I am not recommending Grand Prix as I have only been there a short time, but just find it hard to believe that the same company can own 2 books
in which one is a pleasure to play at, and the other without a doubt the worst one I ever tried. The only reason I stay at the Big Book is because they do pay quickly and to me that is the most important thing. Anyone else here play at Grand Prix though? Curious about
    other opinions.

I like Grand Prix overall, fast payouts and and I always seem to find the Line I want. I'm only a hundread dollar unit player though and can see where there limits might be too little for bigger players. Cant use them for Baseball and Hockey because of awful lines though.

" Can't use them for baseball and hockey because of awful lines though"Sounds like a smart players dream you must love chalk....

This place (grand prix)has little or no customer service and sweats the $ big time I would not recommend this to anyone that bets more then $100-$200 a side. I made many a bets with them and had many problems(look in the archives I am not alone)

They have 20 cent lines in Baseball thats what I meant. I prefer not to use 20 cent lines, if it works for you cool. In Hockey they have those -pk/-.5 goal spreads that I dont like, but if you mostly bet Favs I guess it could work for you.

I asked about Grandprix in this forum about a month ago.

Only complaint, from that posting about them, was that they kicked winners and are somehow associated with Big Book (connection unclear).

I decided to join them and have had no complaints. I received a payout from them too.

          Good Luck

The reason GRand Prix looks better now than The Big Book is because (for some stupid reason only they know) The Big Book seems to have change into a newer version of their software (supposely from cyberoad). And it looks like the new version is so bad they decided no to have Grand Prix use it till they figure out why is it so bad. Hopefully for all the people that bet with them. I also cannot figure out why people have 2 different opinions of the custemer sevice of the The Big Book and Grand Prix. We all know that The Big Book as NO customer service and we all know that they use the same clerks and they both use ebanx (another name for their own customer service). I agree if you bet less than $100 maybe GPS is fine (not the best and not recommended). But next time they might use GPS as the test book instead of The Big Book (like they used it this time for the software.

                      Good luck to all

Maybe they'll continue to use BigBook as the guinea pig. Maybe the two just share office space and other things, but are different. But I can't really say anything but positive about GrandPrix.

I've used them for two years now, with no complaints. Good connection, software, prompt payouts, non-clone lines, etc.

I've not beat them much, but always bet the limit, always at a number not available anywhere else.

The Big Book had the nerve to whine about the fact that they had so many people referred to them by advertising at another site and the problem is all these people WON....they complained to the site owner. This is no joke. I swear it!
