Since no one responded to my previous question, I came to my on conclusion. I recently tried an online casino. The Blackjack seemed quite questionable. The game used multiple decks and offered surrender. I believe a good card counter with the advantage of counting at home can win repeately. I feel the game cannot be 100% legit if it allows this. The only way I see online blackjack making money for the house, if they have many non card counters and maybe shuffle between every hand to prevent card counters from counting.

I ask a question why don't AC or LV use blackjack slot machines. They can cut cost by eliminating some dealers. They can also offer lower stakes Bj for the customers.

Does any have other feeling on this topic?

    Thank you

There are plenty of Black Jack Machines in Vegas, from .05 to $1.00, can't speak about AC though. They are NOT crowded. Players would rather play where they See the cards, rather than in a BJ slot machine that's programmed to pay out a certain % over the long haul, and online BJ would be no different.

Thanks for the reponse Mr. Guesser. I thought that the online BJ is supposed to be dealt at random not at a certain payoff %. I thought only slots are controlled that way.

Most blackjack machines at casinos are sucker bets because they only pay even money for a blackjack instead of 3/2 like at a table. They also have doubling down restrictions that are bad for the player. They do this because it is very easy to learn basic strategy to play at only about 1/2% disadvantage.Conversely learning perfect video poker strategy is much more difficult, but there are Dueces Wild games online that could theoretically pay back more than 100% with perfect play, which would be even harder to learn than Jacks Or Better.

Some people will never trust machines ESPECIALLY table players. You don't really expect the gaming public who has been accustomed to live action and can watch the dealer/house for any indifferences to now believe/trust a computer for a honest random deal won't happen.

win4bb, I was always interested in learning how to analyze video poker to see if there is an advantage and learning how to go about exploiting that advantage... Could you tell me where I can go to find that kind of info?

Recommend any sites or books for this.

            Thanks

Yes,I would recommend Bob Dancer's Winpoker. It has about 15 different types of poker and is the best tool for learning that i have seen.It tells you the percentages of each hand.Go to Gamblersbook.com or Rge21.com to find it.I think it is about $30
