perhaps you can use software which would assist your clerks in a manner which would reduce the liklehood off accepting wagers outside your limits. For example if an excessive wager is punched in by a clerk the software would notify clerk that this wager is not acceptable for the stated reason.

greg, this is really a good suggestion. At many books which offer a combined phone/internet account, the clerk is simply punching into the same basic software that a player would use.

Speaking of internet accounts, what on earth could keep Bowmans from implementing online wagering? Are they afraid that their computer programmers will make as many mistakes as the clerks? : ))
