Thanks for all the great info.

I will be taking my wife up their on the weekend of the 24th for our 16th yr aniversary and for some NBA action so if you could be so kind as to give me the # to any weekend rentals in the Tahoe keys area and to the "Inn by the lake" I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks
    MV

MV, if your wife is going to let you watch basketball on an anniversary trip, she's a "keeper". : ))

        Big Money

She will allow me a small window of Sports Betting but I think I would be pushing it if I asked Her to watch an NBA game with Me on our Anniversary.

        You never know???

Thats why I want to keep her happy with the best lodging and food and shows.

        Thanks
        MV

          Maximum Value,

The phone number to Tahoe Keys Resort is 800-462-5397 and to Inn By The Lake is 800-877-1466. However, both these places have internet sites that might be worth checking out before giving them a call:

          www.tahoevacationguide.com
          www.innbythelake.com

As far as places to dine that are "worthy" of an anniversary dinner, may I suggest The Broiler Room (Caesars), The Summit (Harrahs) or Llewellyn's (Harveys). If you'd like to eat at a very nice place that is away from the casinos, I recommend The Swiss Chalet (get the fondue appetizer - you won't be sorry!). The Tahoe Keys also has a restaurant called The Fresh Ketch. It's pretty good, but probably not quite as nice as the other 4 above. Since you'll be here on a weekend, I strongly recommend making dinner reservations in advance if possible.

Let me be the first to wish you and your wife a happy anniversary!

If I can provide you with any more info just let me know. Otherwise, have a great time in Tahoe!

Thanks again for all that detailed info.
It really do appreciate your memo.

Plus I can showoff to the wife alittle and act like I know what I doing in regards to lodging and dining.

Yo Big Money what can you tell me about Nevada laws and internet gambling? I thought it was legal there. Any tips on where to go to check it out?

I'm probably not much help on the legal issue - maybe someone else can point you in the right direction. My comments were only based on passing along others' statements.

It is my understanding that the state of Nevada makes it illegal for residents to play offshore sportsbooks, either by phone or internet. But if you live there, you shouldn't take my word for it.
