who knows horizon?

anyone heard of horizon sports? got a flyer in the mail the other day, and want to know if anyone knows a thing about them...

To the best of my knowledge, Horizon is run by some of the people who formerly ran International as well as the old Heritage. The owners of those two outfits chose to leave the business about 2 yrs. ago and went out of their way to make sure that people got their money....and I do mean out of their way. I was with International at the time so I can tell you that as a fact. Both of those outfits had impeccable reputations. As for Horizon, I haven't posted up with them yet but I have been doing a bit of research and all indications seem very positive. I'm just waiting for baseball.

I received information from them as well. On the outside of the envelope they had a label over the top of what was underneath it. I peeled it off and it said Pinnacle....

The literature was on what sportsbooks to join up with .....

# 2 Pinnacle # 3 Heritage.... forget who was # 1, noone I heard of ....

Only mention of any books on the left was a honorable mention to Olympic and best customer service to carib....

Other than that, I hadn't heard of any of others....

Speaking of Heritage I just got a flyer from them saying they are back open. I played with them when they were open and they were by far my favorite book.

Chesterockwells is absolutely right about them getting everyone their money. A friend of mine had an account with them, but had not played for about 8 months. When they closed his account had $98 in it, and they sent him a check.

I went on to Pinnacle when they closed, but they were not even close to Heritage, so I moved on. I never gave Horizon a try, I figured they would be like Pinnacle.

When I called them, I recognized all the people I talk to, so I posted up with them. It has only been a couple of days, but it seems like the old Heritage. You should give them a call 1-800-800-7777 – their phone number is even the same as it used to be.

BTW – Brian, they should be back on the List.

I know for a fact that the principals of Horizon Sports left Pinnacle for the same reasons that Knowitall stated. They have no affiliation with Pinnacle whatsoever and they try to emulate the Heritage tradition. I too heard that Heritage has reopened, I'm sure if it's the same guys that it will be a first class operation.

i recvd that schedule as well...didnt notice the label tho before i threw it out. i dont see any advertising for them around.that usually means they are people who left an organization and took customers with them and also have a large credit customer base. i have heard nothing but praises about them..good luck.
