Lance, I have an account with your store and have played without problem for 2+ years.Here,I hope,is some constructive criticism. Get rid of your disclaimer "FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY".It sounds like a scorephone or something.When your lines come up on the screen, I assume you want me to bet into them.I call and ask for a run, the clerk reads me a disclaimer,I stop the clerk at the game I want attempt to make a play,not even going to the next one on the board,and the clerk says its for informational purposes only,the line has changed.Lance, you have accounts at most if not all screen stores and no other store has this practice. I can understand if I passed the game by and came back to it after the run...not the case here.Read me a line during a run,I stop the clerk,make a play,that is the way it should be.AGREED?

OLD MAN..I call,ask for a run in the NBA,the clerk says that the lines are for 'INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY" and proceeds to read the numbers 5,203 9,200.5 etc.As soon as he says 200.5,I say give me under for xxxx.00.The clerk then says "the lines are for informational purposes only and the line is 199.5.He didnt get to the next game.The reason I get a run is so that they dont shout the game and my account number.I know what game or games im keying but I dont go directly to them. I of course, dont do this on a sat afternoon college bb card. I hope they eliminate this practice. The reason I call skybook in the first place is because the number is on don best and I assume they want to write. PS I passed on the game

Actually, what I was referring to was the capability of online software to deal a sharp and square line, depending on your log on.

Most books don't even use all the bells and whistles their software is capapble of.

Remember, we live in an age where virtually anything is possible with computer programming.

I don't think that's what we're talking about in this thread though....

hey guys.i opened up with sky a few weeks ago. i give them good action and have been paid on time ,etc but have not encountered this. it does'nt make any sense. i believe you but sounds wierd. good luck.

They will just say "We don't like that either". They are bettors and when they call other shops "They don't like that either". This is what they really mean. They will just avoid any sharp action that they can. But they will still say "We are the best". They take bets like the Frontier.

From what I've read here, this place is scared of anyone who looks for numbers. Is this correct? This place wants to be a BIG BOY off-shore book?

I just read Fred's writings. This man is the King of Pro Baskets. He said the same exact thing. Nobody backed him up. They don't want to take his bets, They want to bet his bets! How many people need to say this?

I would be scared of any book who says "Yes we are gamblers". Why? Because MOST GAMBLERS GO BROKE!

OLD MAN,good thought,but in my case it cant be true since the number I use at skybook is fairly new even though Ive played there awhile.I wont play a bad number ever.The line might move into me later but I wont go under 199 when there are 199.5 on the screen.Skybook is a valuable book since they put up NBA totals earlier than most screen stores so to get down at the "right number" before it gets ironed out means alot to me.Besides someone else will get it so why cant it be me? Its really simple ,read me the lines and I play as the clerk reads the line.If a game is on hold tell me. Dont have a clerk read me a line only to say this is "FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES".

skybook is a pain in the ass. What other place have you ever heard of that has to ask "is the kansas game ok for account 1489" before they give you a line?

Are they in business to take bets or not? If they are it shouldn't matter who is calling. If they are so worried about this or that account number they should bet off the don best screen and drop their big shot talk.

When I make a bet it is in a split second of getting another sportsbooks line/s I don't have time for stuff like that garbage also this is one too many times I have heard they change lines after they give you a number.

The only positive thing that can come of this is Lance says he is covering the floor come baseball season.

Let me be straight up and fair Lance. I told you I intend to open an account with you for baseball season along with the other accounts I have I will shop you and not even hesitate to betting a dime or two a game(max on totals sometimes) WILL THIS BLACKLABEL ME?

I am not a wise guy ( but would like to be LOL)but rather a shopper and a player and you can ask other books who know me and know I post under krackman(Dalton at gameday,Eddie at Premier,Tom Miller at Mill just to name a few)
