Alot of people are ragging on Dana Corbo and Don Best when he has absolutely nothing to do with this twenty cent line change.
Dana runs a line service, a damn good line service and like a newspaper, he reports lines which is no different then when a newspaper reports on stories.
The lines he publishes he does so because those of us that pay for his service want to see them in real time in one place. He provides an information service, that is all. Where some people got the convulted idea that Dana Corbo is somehow in collusion with the books on the feed is ridiculous.
He is no more responsible for sportsbooks choosing to go a twenty cent line than The New York Times is for reporting a murderer. They report the news, that is all.
Along that same line, if the Don Best Feed does not do me any good because I will not use the books that have twenty cent lines, then I will drop the feed as it is my right to do so.
Enough people wanting to see differnent books on the feed and having a situation wherein his clientele were offered no value by the books with twenty cent lines that were on there, this would necessitate Dana to reevaluate what sportsbooks he featured. Again, it is market-driven. There is no business without customers.
If that is the case and we as Don Best clients really find no value in having the feed during baseball season (and I do know yet if that will be the case or not), either a competitor will come in and offer a service featuring sportsbooks we do want, or Dana will amend the feed during bases to give his clients what they want. Period.
But leave the guy alone, he's a stand-up guy and everyone in and out of the business knows it.
