We do offer payouts 7 days a week via Western Union. You will receive your payout the same day via Western Union (if that is how you would like your payout) as long as we have received your request by 1pm EST you will receive your funds by approximately 5pm EST the same day.

Payouts are available by any method 7 days a week. Keep in mind that Federal Express does not offer weekend delivery. Dunes Sports recognizes that we are holding YOUR money and you should have fast and easy access to it.

My comments regarding the way we do business and our reputations is based upon the fact that everyone involved in our venture has been involved in the sports wagering industry for many years. All of our employees have been hand picked to develop the most knowledgeable base possible.

With regards to the handicapping and line setting, we have people on board with many years experience in the business. These people do not feel that it is necessary to simply follow the Don Best screen to set a line.

You can always give us a call and we would be more than happy to put you in touch with those who set our lines and those who operate the business. We would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have regarding ownership, financial stability, etc. We just don't feel it necessary to discuss sensitive private information in a public forum. I can't believe what I am reading. I am nominating Dunes Sports for my "Pied Piper" award. I was going to say something about their original post here (see archives) but I held back.

WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE THINKING HERE???

This is a NEW book, anyway you cut it. Yes, a BRAND NEW book that still smells new. They are operating out of Costa Rica which has absolutely no regulation and they are offering very high bonuses. (Yes, I know there are some VERY strong operations in CR)

All they have done to distinguish themself is come in here and open a dialogue with some posters. And solely based on that and a plug from David (David, as far as I can tell does tech suppport for some other CR books and now claims he owns Abetz, which is new too) people are actually talking about this place as if it is an established shop.

The bottom line is nobody here knows who these people are, they come in here and hide behind an anonymous handle and act like they are the book to end all books.

Not everyone is falling for this solicitation but those who are need to think for a minute.

Now, that I said all of that let me say that I know everyone needs to start somewhere and that's fine. They might turn out to be a great place but let's all be cautious. We don't even know if "Samantha" is really a girl or just a clever marketing pitch to encourage us to engage in conversation with them.

Just being my skeptical self.

I did not intend my reply to sound like a form letter. When it comes to discussing handicapping and the setting of the lines here, the lines managers and owners are the ones that can better explain their strategy to you. I was not implying that you should call, register and post up with us. I was simply saying that they would be the ones to better describe their plan of attack.

We do offer wagering on all golf, soccer, NASCAR, and tennis events. The margins on each vary according to the type of wager being offered, etc. For a more detailed description of line setting policies please call.

Betting-in-Progress is not the same as that offered by WSEX and the others mentioned. Because I do not want to be accused of continually promoting the Dunes on Bettorsworld, if anyone would like to discuss how Betting-in-Progress works and get an example, they can feel free to call me and I would be happy to talk with them about it.

Keep the questions coming, I will try to answer everything to everyone's satisfaction. Some of the questions do not necessarily have solid answers because we are still building our strategy (for lack of a better term). If you have something you want to see, let us know. First I believe if there was something fishy or out of line with these folks, Jeff,Brian or Willy would have shut this post down and posted a big warning sign to all of this.

These folks are trying to create a book made for the players by the players in is as much as I can see.

It is isn't often you see a book trying to cater to players BEFORE it officially opens.

Usually it is an afterthought, once they find players are not happy,want different options or they aren't getting any business.

I can't say if the DUNES is going to be great or a total bust, only time will answer those questions, and from the experiences people have with them and share with us.

I am a proponent of finding things out for myself, and thus with these folks I am going to do just that. I have been with numerous books, and some were just dogs with fleas, the ones I am still with are truly the rolls royces of the business.

So with that all said, I understand a lot of your skepticism here, and I will test the waters.

I do have one question for Samantha.....

What are the maximum payouts on horses, and what is the minimum and maximum bet allowed on a straight ticket ( win/place/show) ?

Freak has illusrated our point very well. We recognize that there will be much skepticism and hesitancy before anyone is ready to post up with us. The only way we can demonstrate our solidity and competence is to get our name out there and get people to call and talk to us. Only time can tell.

Our horse racing payouts work as follows: the maximum you can wager is the balance of your account. Our maximum payouts for win/place/show are 20-1/ 8-1/ 4-1, respectively.

Forgot the minimum wagers for horse racing:

$10 minimum wager at the present time. This will be raised to $25 after 30 days. Any customer that starts out wagering at the $10 minimum with us may stay with $10 for as long as they like!

I do have to agree somewhat with skeptic. I mean what did the owner/s of this book do before they started this book? Were they in this business before? With so many solid shops on the list below why would anyone take a chance with you? Most offer bonuses. And please don't get me wrong I hope you are a great success .
