Just wanted to clarify a few things brought up in the previous Dunes thread.
Bettorsworld has always had a no soliciting policy. This policy is still in effect. Let's face it, we have all seen the shameless attempts by certain books/casinos in the past. A plug here and there isn't a problem, but sometimes, it gets ridiculous.
In the case of the Dunes, I had given them the go ahead to start the previous thread.
My reasoning was simple. After reading the 1st post they made a couple of weeks ago, rather than immediately squashing the thread, I called them on it. Told them I would be in town, and would like to stop by.
If they "ran for the hills" I would have had my answer about them. Instead, they said by all means, stop by.
Our goal here at BWorld is to provide solid info to the players and in order to do that, there needs to be some give and take at times.....I just wanted to make it clear that their post was cleared with us 1st.
As far as the Dunes as a book goes, I can tell you that the people doing the bookmaking have been in the bookmaking biz for many years and are as sharp as they come.
They've put together a nice office,(one of the nicest I've seen) away from other books, and will be going full speed ahead very shortly. It's not a mickey mouse operation........
