  • They're Baaaaaaack!

Based on the last couple of days it looks like our friends the poker players are back to make life interesting for all of us other bettors. Speaking for myself they are one giant pain in the butt.

Looks like they are starting to heat-up. How about those total plays today.

What total plays? Do you know what they played? Also, it looks like the wise guys or whoever got killed betting sides today. Maybe I am wrong, can you help out?

One and possibly a second group are also playing. The Orientals and possibly the Ks. Talk about Wall St. volatility with these shooters and tagalongs.

I certainly don't know which group is making the plays, but I watched the screen all day and was looking for the totals to move. the ones I noted (and played) were NYY, NYM overs and Clev, Balt,ChiSox and Ariz unders.

Thanks father, thats the problem with being outside the loop, you never know where the plays are coming from. With a good day in the books and your afermation that they were indeed the group that hit Ariz at under 10, I have added some more under 9'. I need this one, have to meet a margin call in the morning and baby wants to swim with the dolphins next week in Cancun.

Who are the Pboys? And how can one distinguish one groups plays from the others? I see on the screen that some of the games that move aren't listed as wise guy plays in island express. How can one tell which are which?

if somebody can read a screen and tell what syndicates are playing what ,i would love to hear it before the event.funny how these guys make these claims of x-ray vision when the game is already in the books.i knew a race-track bookmaker who at least once a week would gradually move the line on an outsider to draw the sheep.

The Poker Players just started playing baseball. Right now they are playing small. But when they start playing big, there is no mistaking their moves. No other group in baseball generates the kind of steam that they do. When you see a baseball total jump in a flash from, say, 10 under 30 to 10 over 40, know that it is a Poker Players play.

Thanks Reno. Do you know if the wise guy plays that are listed on island express are from the Pokers? And if not, do you know whose plays they are?

Wise guys plays on the db screen have nothing to do with the poker players. wiseguys plays is a so-so North Jersey handicapper.

The Poker Players are, believe it or not, poker players who bet on baseball. They are rich, smart, successful, and have lots of followers. They are a major reason why many sportsbooks have cried "uncle" and gone to a 20-cent line.
