I heard a rumor today that some American casino workers in Costa Rica got killed someway or another. Has anyone heard anything on that?

Guys,
I have found out that the people in question were not Americans. They were, in fact, Ticos (Costa Rican citizens). One worked in a sportsbook, the other did not, and the incident occured over a debt that was owed. I hope that clears things up for everybody.
I would like to say that, despite some bad publicity, Costa Rica is a magnificent, beautiful country with some of the friendliest people I have ever met. I am sure that most people who have been to, or live here, would agree. If you are not sure, just ask.
Thanks for your time and best of luck!
Jake

There is something about this on ***'s web page www.****.com under the watchdog report.
I got automatically edited! Must be a no-no mentioning them on this site. Sorry Jeff!

Actually, blanking out the name goes way back. At one time, the mere mention of them would cause a reaction like a forest fire in here. Not much lately though. Maybe it's time to lift the ban

A friend of mine recently came back from a stay in Costa Rica. He, along with a handful of others I know, can not only vouch for the atmosphere, but the stunning natives as well. I would love to go there some day and buy Betmaker (just kidding about the Betmaker part).
