It will be like a steele cage match in wrestling.

Or Tuesday night at the fights.

We'll get some enterprising offshore to post numbers on the match.

The match could last a couple of days, at which point a prestigious panel of judges will declare a winner.

Hell, we could even do it in tournament forum.

Culminating with the World Heavyweight Championship, which we'll probably have to make a pay per view event.

Whaddya say?

Spiro is a dear friend of mine,during the course of one of our regular conversations I mentioned to him I'm representing someone from Australia looking to acquire an American sports company and would he mind if I showed him your operation.
Gracious as Spiro is he said absolutely.
We made the visit,had some dinner talked some shop,but no sale.
This is Spiro's baby and as he stated in GAMBLINGFORUM.COM everything is for sale.
Just not today.
As for your dramatic story about the Las Vegas bm's who were horrified that I would reveal such a story which was common place among the inner circle of this industry they can call Spiro or check into the Art Manteris clinic for bookmakers traumatized by corporate takeovers.
As the eminent KOSAR so kindly put it you are clueless.
All you suceeded in doing was discouraging somebody from bringing some real insight,some advice for those who sought it and some tremendously funny true stories about this business to this forum.
There was absolutely nothing in this for me whatsoever I just was tired of seeing some of the falsehoods being posted here being accepted as the truth...

Ah yes, I read Kosar (another infamous "junior member")' response. Pretty silly but since I suspect you wrote it I will go on to you.

As for Olympic, I have put probably 10-12 of my friends into Olympic with significant deposits.

I liked Spiro's answer but in all honesty I am not completely convinced. It is too much of a coincidence that (1) he tried to sell Olympic during a baseball season in which he was losing $4 million, (2) lost heavily on the Super Bowl, (3) reportedly routinely gets killed by sharps on his high halftime and opening numbers limits, and (2) went to a 20 cent baseball line this year.

My opinion of you is firm: anyone who calls a stranger a "bitch" for disagreeing slightly with him is simply irrational and unbalanced. But I do appreciate your inside info on Olympic ...

I wish Olympic nothing but the best. I admire Spiro for trying to stand up for you when you are well ... unworthy of his sweat.

As for Olympic, particularly with their 20 cent baseball line, I have recommended to my friends they play elsewhere until things shake out there.

Since you highlighted a potential (certainly not proven) problem with Olympic I suppose I am in your debt - I don't have to worry about my referrals losing 100+ dimes their on my recommendation.

This ends this for me - I learned something important about Olympic and, unfortunately, I owe you for that.

There IS NO LIVING WAY I was letting you get away with a transparent attempt at punishing Spiro for showing some class and honor for standing up for a friend.
This members of BW is what I meant when I said PATHETIC MLS.
Not even a spoiled child would act this way .
For you to try to extract some retribution by making that post because you didn't get the answer you thought you would says all the members here need to know.
To try and create the illusion that Spiro is in trouble is the kind of thing that the members of this forum should rise up and not tolerate.
I urge every memeber of this forum who has
dealt with OLYMPIC and Spiro to come forward and state their disgust that MLS would stoop to something as low as this.
Spiro is a man of the highest integrity,a man who hands down gives his customers more bang for the buck than any other book in the world.
MLS can say anything he want's about me but please don't let him besmerch a totally innocent victim in this post,a man who deserves your patronage and your support. If you do you could be next...

As for Olympic supporters I was one. It was only your confidential insider info on Olympic that raised a red flag to me (and others I have talked with) in light of other things I had heard about Olympic's bad luck (even if its owner is a super nice guy).

Olympic might very well be solid as a rock, but it is simply not worth it to me to lose a nights sleep over any uncertainty.

I hope everyone else, aside from me and my referrals, sticks with Olympic. If I am wrong I would hate to see Reality's divulging confidential insider information hurting Olympic's business - I just have to protect my own interests.

If anyone with 100% confidence in Olympic can provide a guarantee that neither I nor any of my referrals will lose any of our money with Olympic I would, upon financial security, change my decision.

When I started to question Bet-the-Net a couple of years ago on another gambling chat board, on far less credible evidence, I believe there were something like 49 strongly worded postings about how they had always paid, had great customer service, and were solid as a rock. Well, like a fool I listened to those 49 opinions and lost 13 dimes (it could have been much worse).

It simply does not matter whether 1000 people post that they love Olympic and have 100% confidence in Spiro.

All I know for sure is that a reliable informant (Reality) revealed that Olympic was up for sale. Maybe the sale fell through because of too many financial problems with Olympic - I can't be sure why it did not go through.

I will say again, that I thank sincerely thank Reality for the confidential insider info, and everyone must make their decision based upon their own judgment. If anyone is confortable with Olympic then I sincerely hope things work out for them and Olympic.

I had the Sixers -2.5 and the Hornets +4.5. The Hornets had the ball down 4 with 6 seconds left. The first guy who caught the inbounds pass should have immediately shot a 3 or driven in for a dunk. He didn't so I piss on him! Eldon Campbell got the ball with four seconds left. He should have immediately gone around his man, who would not risk a foul up by 4 and dunked the ball. Instead he took an off balance fade away which he had no intention of making, so I piss on him! Of course Tyrone Hill, up 4, just had to get the rebound before the clock expired, so I piss on him! And the referee- he just had to blow his whistle and call a foul with 4/10's of a second left to get the game off the 4, so I take an extra long piss on him! And the NBA- it's a festering boil with one rigged game after another, so I'm driving to New York to piss in the lobby of the league office! Waiter, can I have another glass of water, please?

Actually, I am not "reality" (although i'm not really offended by the inference, he seems to be an intelligent, informative guy).

It would be a different story if somebody accused me of being "MLS" , however. Now THAT would be criminal.

Although i'm sure that *your* business would be greatly missed by any bookmaker, I doubt that your little scheme to discredit "reality" by making up some scenario where you and 'your boys' are leaving olympic because of "reality's posts" will actually work.

Your silly little games are so transparent.

Anybody with an ounce of common sense can see you for what you are. It's a shame that you have turned this forum into a free-for-all with your constant flames of other posters.
