      sportshobby:

This is a serious question........do the books really appear on the left on your screen?? Or at the bottom? Thanks

No, the advertising books appear at the bottom. I was referring to "The List", the link for which is to the left.

Rumor has it that Casinoair moves on air. What other obscure books do you play into?

Reno, if Casino On Air doesn't pay out, then what exactly is the point of the starnet license they have? What exactly dpes starnet do? Does it mean starnet is responsible to see to it that the customer gets payed by their licensee? All the starnet books seem to be individually owned but same customer service or something. I was looking at a huge list of the hundreds of starnet books, and the majority of them have make payment to: EFS Caribbean P.O Box 3265 etc...this is very confusing to me because with the same payment directons, how can they be individually owned? thanks

Mikes1212, think of Starnet as a Franchisor, like McDonalds. Each Individual McDonald's is individually owned, but they have the same products as all other McDonalds and they give some % of profits to the Parent co., for the right to sell Big Macs or McChicken Sandwiches and use the McDonalds name. Same with the Starnet Books, for the most part. They are individually owned, but they pay Starnet for the right to use their SportsBook lines and their Casino set-up and other help in setting up and Customer service. THEY ALL PAY, in fact Starnet has even paid people when one of it's licensee's illegally abandonned them.

smartplayer, go to gamblingmagazine.com. They really bash starnet for some odd reason, I would guess it is a competitor. Still, let me know what you think. I have used Aces Sportsbook, and received and email from Playersonly regarding a cashout, so I used Playersonly after Aces. Then realized both books have indentical lines. I think im clear on why EFS caribbean takes care of the money transactions, but on western unions, I have sent the money to the same individual for these two books. There was no company to send it to, just that guy, so if they were seperately owned, why would the same guy be collecting for both books? thanks

THE ONLY STARNET BOOK i HAD TRANSACTIONS WITH OS PLAYERSOFFSHORE. tHE GUY WHO OWNS THIS ONE IS NAMED MIKE ROSS, IS IS VERY PERSONABLE AND ON TOP OF HIS BUSINESS, i HAVE BEEN VERY SUPRISED BY THIS BOOK, I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR AN ONLINE BOOK. AS FOR OTHER STARNET FRANCHISES, I'LL LET YOU KNOW IF I DEAL WITH ONE OF THEM. THE ONLY PROBLEM I SEE FOR BASHING THE STARNET BOOKS IS THAT THEY ALL USE THE SAME CUSTOMER SERVICE,AND IF YOU NEED TO CONTACT AN OWNER OF A PARTICULAR ONE YOU HAVE TO DO IT BY EMAIL.

Mikes1212, the reason gamblingmagazine bashes Starnet is well known.

Claude Levy had a sportsbook called Lasvegascasino.com which was developed by Starnet. Apparently Levy stopped paying Starnet the fees so Starnet stopped running the site.

Levy went to Cryptologic instead, opened up gamblingmagazine.com and has spent the last year trying to defame Starnet.

The first instance was when Levy put up a bulletin on his site that Lasvegascasino.com was suing Starnet for $1 billion for breach of contract (he claims they had no right to take down the site). Starnet's stock tumbled to about $11 from $20 and the lawsuit wasn't filed for a long time and actually when it was filed was laughed out of court. Then after the raid on Starnet's offices Levy spent all his time trying to make the situation look worse than it was by posting inuendo and half truths through gamblingmagazine.com

To be honest most people didn't know Levy owned gamblingmagazine.com until after Gamblingmagazine.com started posting about Starnet. Until that time the magazine was well respected.

FWIW, the only gambling magazines I would put any faith in are rgtonline.com and igamingnews.com.

Mikes1212, Players Only is one of, If not THE Biggest Starnet Licensee. They sub licensee to many other Starnet Books, so Aces may be one of their sublicensees. Also, when you Western Union the money, it's still going to the same place, EFS, so that may be why it's sent to the same person. ALL Starnet Books use the same line feeds, so all 100 or 200+ use the identical lines. That's supposed to change on their next software upgrade before Football season, but we'll see. ANYTHING written in gamblingRAG should be laughed at and ignored. Claud (The Fraud) Levy runs it, and he is the Ex- Licensee that I was referring to, who breached his Starnet Contract, and left Starnet and his own Casino patrons with mucho $$$ owed. Starnet stepped in and paid HIS customers, even though they were under no obligation to do so.

So Hartley, what your saying is that all the starnet books are trustworthy? Because Reno said Casino On Air "Moves on Air".. so which is it?

                            Mikes1212:

"Moving on air" has nothing whatsoever to do with financial solvency. It means moving your lines based on the Don Best feed and not on action.
