First time poster, long time reader...
Today while looking at the props on
the Pacer/76er game, I found a wager
I liked and bet it. The prop read
"1STQUARTER PACERS OV 46.5." Well,
after watching the 1 quarter sail
over 46.5, I thought I had a easy
winner and a good start to the
weekend....
Later this evening when checking
my account, I found the wager had
been recorded as a loss.
So my question to the group, how
do you read this prop? I later
played the over on the 1 quarter
at a different book at 47.5. The
thought that this prop could be
seen as the Pacers scoring over 46.5
by themselves never crossed my mind.
What's the record points for a team
in the 1st qt? 50 maybe? What would
the line be on a team scoring that
many points in a quarter? Somewhere
in the 30-1 area? Anyway, let me
know what you think. I just e-mailed
the book.
Thanks, have a good one....
