Ibetcha.Com Sets Its Bets to Attract Fans of The Howard Stern Show - Net's Only Free Gaming Site Inks Deal with New York Based K-Rock -

NEW YORK, May 30 /PRNewswire/ -- ibetcha.com, the only gaming site where betting is free, began this morning an advertising campaign aimed at attracting listeners of New York's popular K-ROCK radio station and the top-rated morning talk program, The Howard Stern Show.

ibetcha.com has already attracted tens of thousands of members over a short time by allowing people to wager virtual dollars called "BetchaBucks" on issues and events to win attractive prizes ranging from DVD Players and Flat Screen TVs to a Porsche Boxster. Betting categories include sports, entertainment, politics, finance -- and any other subject imaginable.

The site's first ad campaign, scheduled run through the summer, will direct listeners to log onto ibetcha.com to participate in "The Bet of The Week" created by K-ROCK radio personality, K.C. Armstrong. The ad campaign will run during The Howard Stern Show and will encourage listeners to try to win prizes by participating in the "Bet of the Week."

    Some of the bets include:

-- What sport will the next pro athlete play who is arrested?

-- Who will be the next rock star to check into rehab?

-- Who will be the next rap star to be murdered?

-- Who will be the next adult movie actress to be diagnosed with AIDS?

-- Will Shaq and the L.A. Lakers win the NBA Finals?

The "Bet of the Week" will be posted on the ibetcha.com home page for KROCK listeners to bet against K.C.

"We hope to attract a lot of new members with our first ad campaign by giving listeners of K-ROCK and The Howard Stern Show a fun and competitive forum by which they can express their opinions," said Omer Shvili, 22 year-old President and CEO of the New York-based company. He adds, "The nature of our site is very sticky. Once people sign-up to wager BetchaBucks on the 'Bet of the Week' they'll want to get involved with other bets on the site."

ibetcha.com is the first and only site that allows its members to challenge and bet against each other about the outcome of almost any imaginable event on earth, for free!; from sports scores and stock market action, to the world of entertainment, politics or anything else members may think of. The site's members accumulate BetchaBucks (the site's virtual currency) as they win bets, and in turn win fabulous prizes. Founded in 1999 by Omer Shvili and Tal Cohen, the company is headquartered in New York City and maintains R & D facilities in Israel.

Funny thing about Howard Stern - when he first came on the air I listened faithfully. Now I rarely tune in.

There's only so many times you can hear about a porn star's new flick or on-air farting before it becomes really boring.

Also, nudity on the radio just doesn't cut it. I'd much rather hear music or sports talk.

I wish howard was still on here in nc. He doesnt go over too well with the conservative southerners here in raleigh. we have to listen to john boy and billy who are on about half of the stations. you want to talk about boring. these people are still fighting the civil war.
Thanks for the info on ibetcha.
