That's exactly what CANBET did to me. This morning I took the Yankees(+183, ACTION) with P.Martinez as the starter for the Sox, ofcorse he doesn't start, Rose does insted, and the line moves a whole bunch. Well, when I get home from work I check my account and to see that dear Canbet has switched my (+183) to (-200). No I am NOT joking. So, because I'm sure this is a mistake I send them an email asking them to fix the error, only to get a reply stating that the rule is whenever you take ACTION on a bet that your bet moves with the line. I can't believe this, I personally bet the Yankees (+183,Action ) at home against Pedro just in case something happened to Pedro. Now, I've never had this happen to me before, and I've used ACTION bets many times with other books. Please, tell me if I'm being robbed or does anyone else have this policy. Now I must add that this bet was for $20 and at this time I don't know whether the bet would have won or not, however the idea of your ACTION bet changing because of the different starting pitchers definitly should make you reconsider Canbet for a baseball out, I know it has for me.

OK Devil, if that's the way it works fine. However I don't know of any other book that does this. If I had know this I would not have played, my fault for not reading the fine print. Devil can list other books that do this? I know Carib doesn't, ofcourse they only deal 20 cent line.

The book is 100% correct. Action meand you have a bet no matter who starts, however you will get an adjusted line if there is a pitching change on either side.
It is a standard Vegas/offshore policy. Listing one pitcher or both guarnatees you aline but if there is a pitching change you have NO Action.

I just pulled this off of Carib's website. No offense, but before you gamble you should really know the rules. All books have this rule.
"In the event of a pitching change prior to the game, the price or line may change. Any wagers marked "Action" on a team without regard to the starting pitcher are subject to an odds or line adjustment."
