    Pablo,
    A $102 payout took 22 days! If it weren't
so ridiculous it would be funny. I hope
your not still playing there. Good luck.

Well I'm trying to get my money out there slowly. If I try to pull it all out at once I believe I'm risking a no-pay. I am becoming very upset at this whole situation.

        PSL,
WU makes you fill out a form when you hit $3000. If you have repeated smaller transactions-lets say dime-dime-1500-dime, they'll fill out what the Gov calls a suspsicious activity report. Tell EASYBets to send you all your money WU. Cash the check at WU and forget them. Apparently they are going down the 5dimes road to nowhere.

Johnny D - I really wonder why you have it in for 5 Dimes... As fas as easybets "going down that way" I really doubt it... Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If you're gonna ask for the regular mail, you should expect the check to get to you in 22 days and leave it at that. If you're willing to pay for WU or a wire transfer, the money will be in your posession much sooner. It's all a matter of choice here... Lets just leave it at that.

What's amazing is the complete lack of business smarts that Easybets has continually exhibited. If owner Alan Weintraub (not sure of spelling)had any kind of real intelligence, he would have long ago hired a competent American BM and a competent customer service/public relations person. Although I don't play with Dunes, someone like a Samantha can do wonders for the reputation of a sportsbook.

You're exactly right Reno. Easybets is one of the first who drew attentions from people here in BW. They just didn't take care of their customers, plain and simple. And regarding Samantha, I would consider her as one of my top lists. She just reminds me of Barbara from SOS. And another one from Wizard of Odds (just won't mention the name).

I too have had major headaches with Easybets. They have no reliable way of phone wagering and inconsistant hours where they answer the phone. My biggest complaint was when they "suspended" my account and failed to pay out on wagers claiming that I welched on them. What happened was that I was using automatic deductions from my checking account but the third-party service Easybets was using was giving my bank a wrong routing number. When I explained that to Easybets and requested they resubmit the bank account deduction using the right number, they instead insisted that I Western Union them the the money or else they would send me to a "collection agency." No Bull. I told them to **** off in so many words and walked away, even though that meant I never collected on some winning tickets I still had with them.

D'goon, no mail in the world takes 22 days. Mine took a month and a half. Check out the post mark Pablo. I actually think that they think that people that wager are trash.

Did anyone's check actually come back as no good or did they all clear?

Yo Pablo, Ezbets has informed me that they have sent a new check express mail to my bank. I hope that I am off the hook now. What about yours.

                        yomonte,

No mail in the world takes 22 days? That is certainly not true, obviously.

See one of last year's free mag offers as an example - they sent it surface so took a hell of a lot longer than that.

This thread is so bizarre that I wouldn't even know where to start in responding to it. But consider this anyway:
                          1. I would be very interested to know the relationship between our poster and his bank. I have never heard of a bank that reacted in this manner over a foreign check for $102. Threatened to take him to court? There's something missing here guys, can't you feel it?
                          2. It's not that unusual for the sportsbooks name to be on the check. JD's statement that it somehow means "Illegal Proceeds" is just incorrect......for a check could easily just be return of your money. It is not illegal to send or receive money from a foreign country or company.
                          3. JD's comments on WU (sad to say) appear to be correct. It seems that the magic number these days is in the 900 range. Anything below and it APPEARS that not much attention is paid. Once you get to the dime and above, on any type of a regular basis, you're just too far from their "average customer" profile. In my opinion JD's assessment on this seems in line with what I've heard from a couple of low level employees at WU. Apparently WU did an internal audit, if you will, last year after some gov't bs and found that their average customer is someone who sends a couple of hundred and no more than 700-800 bucks at a time. This was around the same time the Bank of NY thing first hit the fan. The only thing with this whole WU thing that is a biatch is that the red flag can be raised by a number of people. And for God's sake don't use those discount/frequent user cards they offer you.

                            Chestrockwells...

What do you consider the safest method for receiving funds? My choices with EasyBets are: FedEx the check and bank wire. I am opting for the bank wire, because someone on this thread said FedEx still took well over a week.

Well, here is the latest from my experience with Easybets. After repeated, and I mean REPEATED calls and emails (2 calls a day, 6 emails a day to several employees, for about a week)...the three checks that were approved for withdrawal but never sent out to me were finally refunded back into my Easybets account like I requested. However, this took well over a week just from the time I complained about not receiving the checks over a three week period. I experienced way too much stress over this, and this has been a bad experience for me. Also, the remaining amount to be charged back to my credit card finally went thru...a little late from the time I withdrew those funds to when I got an email from them to actually having it posted to my account. The positive sides to this matter is the fact I got everything I asked for, and Diarmuid is a true gentleman at Easybets. If anyone has problems with Easybets, request to talk to him. I am very relieved my situation has been resolved for now. I just don't think it's fair that these offshore books have you by the nuts. It's hard enough winning in sports betting...it shouldn't be doubly as hard to collect your winnings; which takes me back to my trip to Vegas in April, betting large amounts of cash (yes the green stuff, no 'electronic funds'), and sitting at the Excalibur sports book, watching several games of mine play, and then collecting even bigger stacks of green within 5 minutes of the game's final out. Now THAT is convenient!

                                Yo CRWells,
For one, the check was not for $102. How you can come in this forum with other peoples account info is way beyond me. Two, The bank had a problem cashing the check, so the turned it over to their attorneys. Repeat, my check was not for $102. CRW, my acct with the books I deal with is confidential. You don't have my username and password do you? Try to be more careful about posts that can lead to trouble. I'm very upset that you would even post someones private acct info.
