Bet & Win suddenly chages to dime lines

I don't know when or why this started and I don't know how long it will last, but Bet & Win has gone to dime lines (for lines under about 150) on baseball.

I hope they keep them for football, as I was just about ready to pull out of there.

My guess is that their former 30 and 40-cent lines did not get them much business.

What I meant was, what is the SportingBet place like? Not how well you know them, whose relative they are, how good the lobster was, how much beer you drank at dinner or how fast they pay. Others have given reviews of trips to places, what they looked like, the setup, etc. which was what I was interested in.

Aussie, I can vouch for the hobnobbing.....I was invited to dinner with them, but was unable to attend that night

Reality, although I endorse Island Casino and Sportbet as fine sportsbooks, until they go to daily pay-outs instead of just on Mondays, I would not call their pay-outs prompt. And historically, they have been known for slow pay-outs. In the past I've had to wait over a week for a check to arrive. I'm sure Chester will get the daily pay-outs in order, but until he does, call a spade a spade.

Betmaker (formerly Global Sport Connection)used to be a great out for me the season before last. Then, unfortunately, last season they became an almost useless clone joint. And then they kicked me out for luckily winning a few bets in a row, when all I was doing was buying back on scalps. I wasn't even trying to beat them on the steam. And I've heard that they do kick out guys who do beat them on steam games. No way I'd endorse these guys. I'd rate them just above Intertops and Easybets and just below Bowman's. When I told Roger, the linesmaker at WWTS, that I'd been kicked out at Betmaker for buying back, he couldn't believe it. He couldn't understand how a book could hang a number and not want a bet.
Guys like Roger at WWTS use wiseguys to their advantage; they don't kick them out. Betmaker, like Bowman's, Intertops, and Easybets obviously needs a qualified BM to run the joint right.

Sportingbet is an ok book, but is also another clone joint. I think they only take a nickel on totals.

How about the Don Best books with a true 10-cent line? Every one but Skybook, which should still be listed, is on the Bettorsworld Cream-of the Crop List. In other words, Jeff and Brian endorse these books along with yours truly.

Belize: a great sportsbook with high limits, and very non-clone lines. They are on the BW Cream of the Crop list. Because of location and reputation, I can settle-up anytime with these guys.

Caribi: Monte has a great reputation. They move on action and not air, so there can be real value on a lot of games. They offer all kinds of transfer agreements, so all I do is switch my money in and out. Again, on the BW Cream of the Crop List.

Del Mar: L, the owner, has been unbelievably successful. This joint takes HUGE bets. L's name is like gold in the biz. Ask anyone in the know. Del Mar is super solid.

Looseline: They now do have looselines again. They opinionate their opening numbers.
Another very successful book, and the owner, B., is also very respected in the Biz. I fully endorse this fine book. They have gone out of their way to help me transfer funds.

Palmas: I started playing with them recently, and have only heard good things
about this relatively new book.

Skybook: Great numbers, ultra-high limits, and all of my bank-wire pay-outs have arrived in 2 days. Although Lance is almost as crazy as I am, they are a very profesional, polished operation with phone service second to none.

Sports Market: They are A-1 in every regard.
Plus, they offer fabulous bonuses. Pay-outs are super prompt, whether by Fed-ex or bank wire.

Books like Post Time, Pinnacle, and Premiere League are also highly reputable 10-cent joints.

Although Pelican and WSEX do not offer a pure 10-cent line, they are superb sportsbooks that I highly recommend. Pay-outs are prompt.

I'm sure there are other outstanding 10-cent books that I've failed to mention and that I haven't yet played with. But my point is this: Because you aren't a player, your experience with various sportsbooks is limited and parochial. Guys like me with
20+ offshore outs are probably better qualified to compare and contrast books.
