  • Help me narrow it to 1 based on your experiences.

I am moving money out of an account due to a bad experience. I really don't want to get into the details.

I have the option to do a co-op transfer

Based on your experiences with any of these books, where would you move your money...

    SOS
    Intertops
    Carib

I am looking for a solid, stable, safe out and any info you would like to share would be appreciated.

    Thanks for all replies.

Carib, no doubt about it, don't even look at the other books, not worth your while.

SOS and Carib are both excellent but their 20 cent lines for baseball are a turnoff. If you're looking for an Antiguan book try WSE. Hope that's not the one you want to get out of.

Max the Knife, I considered opening an account with Game Day. I called them today for info, and I was told they use a 20-cent line in baseball. Consequently, I instead opened an account with Legal Book (5-Card Charlie's).

Was your negative experience a Main street book?

Reno, I have a Gameday account, online, and it's a dime line on the lower faves. They also have overnights, but with a max $200 win.

They ought to fire idiots that incorrectly answer the most basic questions. I should have gotten the numbskull's name who mis-informed me.

Wintermute --- no wasnt wse Love that shop..

They go out of their way to take care of any problems period.

Max the Knife, Gameday great book, correct Blake runs tip top shop. Active there now.

Reno, if you call Blake he will take care of you, I guarantee it. Great overnights and dime lines run thru -159 and max bet is $200 until 11 am the next day on bases.

                          Railbird yes it is.

I sent jeff an e-mail and I will take it from there. I don't want to cause problems and want to try to get it fixed the diplomatic way. I failed in my attempt and will see what transpires from here.

As a forum operator myself, I have to mind my manners, so I will keep all informed.

First ever post!! This is Larry from LegalBook/Five Card Charlie (www.fivecardcharlie.com). Reno, I did not get to speak to you today but, thank you for your support of us, but I hope you won't be too hard on GameDay, they have built an excellent customer service record in a relatively short time and I have seen more good posts on them than most books. Yes, we too use a dime line up to -1.80 on baseball, we considered going to 20¢ this year, but we voted against it and we will probably never do it.

Freak, when looking for a book, please don't look past CURACAO which, after some horror stories in 1997-98, the cream has risen to the top and you will find some books here that pound-for-pound are some of the most solid operations around compared to any island/country.
Along with us, you have to look at ROYAL (www.royalsports.an), SPORTS-MARKET (seen on Don Best) (www.sports-market.com and online www.acesgold.com), OASIS(www.oasiscasino.com), VIP SPORTS (www.vipsports.com)and PINNACLE (www.sportsgamblers.com).

There are others: GameDay, Fair Deal, Top of the World, Wall Street Superbook (www.wssbcasino.com), Gold Medal, 7 Palms. I can tell you that none of these places is out to screw anybody, you can be confident with your money with all mentioned here.

My personal favorite is OLYMPIC in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Spiros is a great guy and I love their online software. Numbers on things other places won't touch, 1st+2nd Half Arena Football, Totals on WNBA?? If you like diverse action, they've got it.

Freak, it's starting to look like narrowing your choice down to one just got a little more difficult.

P.S. - If you call any of the Curacao books and someone gives you a "No Holds Barred" attitude, let me know and I'll go over there and throw them a beatin'.

Freak, Out of the 3 books you mentioned, I would definitely pick SOS. Carib is o.k, but the customer service at SOS is far much better and is probably the best of any book that I habe played with. SOS also tends to have different numbers on football and baskets.
