    P/Czech,

No, by no means. The room will be filled with plenty of talent like yourself and even the heckler from down under. It's just that it's not always for THE cause, but THEIR cause.

      Ronbets,

Yeah, convention it is. I might even find out stuff about the Fried Liver Attack. Plus get to talk to a couple of interesting people, 1 or 2 who might know what they are doing

As PC says, a few days in Vegas might even be fun.

Are Mike Lee, Kelso Sturgeon, and Larry 'P'Ness going to attend? I'd love to study under the tutelage of their expertise? Is J-J-Joe Gavozzi going to sp-sp-speak?

Mike Lee is a nice guy. I used to read him when he wrote for Tony Salinas in High Roller. Then, a friend and I subscribed to his picks and ponderings. However, I never found him to be particularly profound or sophisticated. Everything he said or did was rudimentary. Also, when I followed him, he didn't win squat.

Larry Ness and Kelso Sturgeon, two of Feist's boys. Larry didn't even do his own picks. He'd hang out at Austin's and wonder what plays had been given out under his name.

Hey, maybe Jim Feist, the WORLD's GREATEST HANDICAPPER, will make a guest appearance at the seminar. If so, he'll probably offer a one-time special rate for membership in his exclusive INNER CIRCLE, which puts fear in the hearts of all offshore BMs.

don't think I am particularly interested in them

one of Feist's magazines had a whole season's NFL boxscores in it once, so he has done something useful for me

that and some stuff on the website.

                Chests might be ok

Did not remember seeing chess sets as casino souvenirs though

I could bring the old chess computer to play PC, I might have a chance then
