  • books that do transfers

I am looking for 4 or 5 books to open accounts with. They only need to have these requirements:
1)They must be on the cream of the crop list.
2)I would only like to play with books that do tranfers between each other to start.
3)They must have a dime line in bases.
This is about it. I wouldn't mind getting any bonuses but these three things are the most important to me right now. I don't bet parlays, and rarely bet teasers in football so I'm not really interested in better odds on these. The most I usually will bet will be a dime. Also I am only going to be using phone wagering to start out. I am new here and would love any info anyone can provide. I haven't played offshore in about 5 years since I was stiffed and was very skeptical until I came across this site. Bettorsworld has given me confidence to try it out again. Jeff, the players, and the BM's in here are definately the most knowledgable of the offshore business I've come across in any forum.

By "transfers" I assume you mean the kind that can be done same day. Some books can arrange for a transfer, send a check for you, perhaps send a bank wire to another sportsbook; but this can take up to a week.

Narrowing down to the baseball dime line, I can only come up with WSEX, Premiere League, and Intertops. And the transfers at Intertops are incoming only - they won't transfer to others.

Maybe someone else can chime in about transfers among books in Curacao.

Dunes so far has met all 3 of those requirements, with nothing bad to be found as far as I know. If you want any specifics about them, search here or shoot me an email at dauby@ptdprolog.net

          Frank,

Just a quick response to your post, I am sure Pinnacle can meet your needs.

          1) I would like to think that we are on the cream of the crop list.
2)We do transfers with other cream of the crop books.
          3) We have dime line in bases and even offer an old style nickel line from 10pm to 11.30pm eastern time.

I hope this helps you out.

Any further questions or comments please do not hesitate to contact me.

Frank, I have accounts and have done the folowing transfers among the following 10-cent books:

            Caribi: Pelican, Rio
            Del Mar: Looselines, Palmas, Skybook
            Island Casino: Sportbet
Looseline: Belize, Del Mar, Palmas, Skybook, WWTS
            Palmas el Mar, Skybook
            Pelican: Caribi, Rio
            Rio: Caribi, Pelican
            Skybook: Del Mar, Looselines, Palmas,
            Sportbet: Island Casino
            Sportsmarket

The above list is by no means all-inclusive, but does provide a basis. And, I must particularly commend Looseline, which has been ultra-helpful regarding transfers.

In regards to Curacao Books, I will chime in and inform all readers that we here at GameDay have transferred funds to and from most all of the books located here. Those we have not, a simple phone call from one book to another will provide the solution.

I cannot answer on behalf of the other books on your inquiry regarding a dime line, being on the cream of the crop list, and bonus opportunities - But I can tell you what GameDay has to offer.

              A dime line - Yes

On the Cream of the Crop list - Yes

Active & Inactive Account Bonuses - Yes

We are currently offering 10% for New Credit Card Accounts, 15% for New Cash Accounts, and a 5% Reload Bonus for all existing accounts who re-load with cash. We also offer a free sports pager with 3 months of free service.

In addition, we have various exciting promotions this year including a "No Juice" GameDay Happy Hour, GameDay's Game of the Week, a Vegas Style Comp Program to be released by September, and a free "NFL Championship Challenge" contest allowing all entrants an opportunity to win weekly prizes.

I hope I have been helpful to all. Whether you play with us or a few of the other books on the Island, Curacao is one of the TOP locations to play!!

                Reno...

Excellent cross reference table. I will save it and use it. Have done a few transfers amongst your listed combos, and yes, the folks at Looselines has been very accomodating regarding transfers, as have the staff at Las Palmas. Also, Ginny at Skybook has been very helpful and usually can transfer money same day.

Frank, if you stick to the books on Reno's chart, you won't go wrong. Best of luck to you.

What about fees? I think SOS is now charging $30 to transfer funds. Is anyone else?

FatBoy, that is a good question. A couple months ago several books added the $30 transfer fee. But it seems that it is not always enforced. I can't figure out what the formula is.

I assume Frank was looking for some limited number of FREE transfers.

Yes I am looking for free transfers. They most likely wouldn't be too often. Only when I have too much money tied up in one book. It would also be great if they could be done the same day.

                        Reno,
That is a very impressive list. I know I've read numerous times here that WWTS will not give a dime line unless you were a previous player before they went to a 20 cent line. Are there any other books on that list that I will need to scratch because I'm a new customer?

Frank, only WWTS. And, unfortunately, WWTS, unlike the other books, will now stick with you a $30 transfer fee. Earlier in the baseball season they would provide two free transfers per week. But not anymore.

I echo Jason D's, Shifty Sheik's, and Reno's list. All good books. As far as Dunes, they will transfer to any book except NASA, little Nasa, and Diamond (I inquired about this). They have no transfer fees at the present time and are currently picking up transfer fees from other books who charge them. Think most books want to be reasonable about this unless there is abuse of the system.

Thanks for all of the replies. The books I played with 5 years ago were:

1)Sports Action International (or whatever they were called),now Bowmans. I liked this book a lot. They were always the most courteous but evidently they are not half the book they once were. BTW even 5 years ago they did that same quote a number and change it when I tried to bet it.

2)Galaxy(now Royal) They were by far my favorite. Very classy.

3)***: I didn't care for them. They were kinda rude but the ****(I don't remember what they were called backed then) was about the only info I had on offshores back then. And yes I was one of those stupid people to pay the $97 membership fee and get the crappy cigar, the useless video, and the waste of a betting guide.

4)EZ Bets(not the same as Easybets)They weren't bad. I think they were bought out by someone, I'm not sure.

5)Top Turf: This was the book that stiffed me. I called one day and all 5 phone numbers were disconnected and I never saw any of my money(about $400). There was no Bettorsworld back then so I had no one to turn to. I signed up with them because they were advertised on every other page of just about every magazine. I thought they had to be huge. Shows how much that means.

I will be doing a search in BW to get more info on all of the books listed and make my decisions on which books I will use. When I decide, I will let you know and anyone who responded can have my referal. Thanks again Frank.
