Reno, Boomer & all other sclapers out there.
There is a new internet sportsbook on the horizon (www.betwindows2000.com) They use the same software as Grand Central Sports. It will be fully operational by Saturday. By Saturday they will offer the higest limits on the net. Wise Guys, Scalpers, everyone is welcome. They also will have a call in service. The owners of this site are loaded. They have a 1 million dollar advertising budget for September alone. All comments are welcome.

    Here's a question or two:

    1. Why does this betwondows2000.com have their ISP in Arizona? Why for that matter does gcsports.com have their ISP in Arizona?

    2. What are the high limits on the net? for Pro? For college? For Pro totals? College totals?

    3. Who are these people and what is their background? Are we supposed to just take you at your word that they are "loaded" and that should be sufficient? Where will they be operating? Will they be licensed?

There is a lot more to running a successful operation then buying a turn key software package and blowing a lot of money on marketing. They are a BRAND NEW book and should be treated with all of the caution that brand new books deserve.

That's my two cents. Anybody else?

I can ad my 2 cents on the ISP......

I think it's important to remember that alot of books have their frontpage, hosted in the USA. This generally contains a homepage, rules, etc.etc.

However once you enter the wagering area, you are on a sever in another location, which is where the wagers are processed. Lots of books do this I believe.

        Jeff,

Even if it is just a home page it is not a very smart thing to do. Why have anything in the US? There is little upside and a lot of downside.

          Skeptic,
I agree with what you say about using caution. These guys are using Grand Central's customer service department to operate the day to day operations(payouts etc.). It's kinda like having two fast food places under one roof. The owners of the business are professionals. They have all their costs under control. I feel as if they will be very good at this. They've been around for a long time.

            FYI,

Our servers are located in Venezuela and not in the United States. Our ISP provider is Phoenix International Teleport who provides us with our satellite and tele-communications bandwidth. The Phoenix Teleport is located on an Indian Reservation and is not considered part of the United States of America.

              John,

What about same day payouts. GCS as impressed as I am with them have next day payouts, same type of scenario in effect for betwindows?

              Thanks,

              BTH

Betwindows2000 will have all the same perfect features Grand Central Sports offers.
