Anyone have any feedback pro or con on Gameday Sportsbook?

Haven't used them myself yet, but know several who have.

I'll pass along my thoughts when I do post up with them.

They have alot going for them......location, Curacao, one of the best "communities" as far as book locations.

They use the same software as VIP (remember them?) and are located in the same office building.

They are also sponsoring two of our season long football contests!

I've had positive inputs from reliable sources on the solidity and fairness of Gameday. And I think if you are only looking for one book, they're not a bad choice.

But from what I've seen of their lines, they are not for the shopper. I've seen mostly what Reno calls "tweeners". And they are not on any line feed that I'm aware of, so shopping their numbers is a lot of work. This seems to be very typical of the Curacao books (with Sports-Market being the exception, of course).

So it depends on what your looking for.

Here is some of the pro's and con's like you asked . I agree they are a good book and MOST IMPORTANT THEY PAY...

I also cannot believe no one has mentioned on any forums they will have no-juice on fridays between 4-9 on NFL games. ( Maybe Blake can confirm on this thread )

Also I placed a $500 wager on a line and clicked and then the line was 1/2 pt. different but I accepted and did not realize that the line changed till after I accepted the bet. I called and they would not cancel the bet and I agree it was my fault for accepting the bet but I would suggest that when a line that I clicked on differs that when the next page shows up it would let me know there is a line change in a different color or blinking. Actually most books use this and it seem helpful.

FYI- I have made bets at Nasa,Dunes, and Royal(3 recent ones I can think of) and called them back within minutes of making the bet and they all cancelled the wager for me. But again that is Gameday's prerogative if I don't like it I don't have to play there!

I also did a transfer from Gameday to Aces Gold without any problem.

Thanks for the feedback on our services.

In response to Krackman, our NO JUICE promo is every Friday from 4-9 PM EST. We call it "GameDay Happy Hour", and it includes all NFL sides, totals, and halftimes.

With regards to the line changing, we do offer the confirmation screen for this reason. The idea of it flashing in red or something like that is a good one and I can look into that. We just can't get into the habbit of cancelling wagers, so we usually stick to our guns on that rule. I am glad you are OK with that Krackman.

With regards to money transfers, we are willing to do so with anyone. We have done same day transfers with most books in Curacao, Dunes in Costa Rica, and a handfull of others. Give us a call and we will do our best to accomodate.
