How many times have we seen these prop bets put up without enough definition? It is incumbent on both the sportsbook and the player to be sure the bet is defined, the source for evaluating it is defined, and all the terms and conditions (like what happens in a tie) are set.
If I had to grade it, it would be a push (no action).
How about this one. Tiger's score today vs. longest td scored from scrimmage. ? is, does an INT return for a td count for this one? I would say yes, but I really have no clue and have no idea how it will be scored at the end of the day
We have Tiger with a 65 I think, and an INT return for 84 yards.
Now that I think of it, should a punt or kickoff return count also?
I don't really have any idea what is "right", since I don't get involved in this type of prop wager. But my point is, how can a sportsbook put up such props without the necessary definitions? And how can players wager on these things without knowing the rules?
Railbird,
Thanks for the opinion, not sure if you were guessing or know it for sure, but it was graded as a win at my place, without me even having to go question it. I don't see why a pick wouldn't be a score from the line of scrimmage, thats where it starts from, it didn't say anything about an offensive td from scrimmage, just a play from scrimmage.
Feels great to steal some cheese from Tiger for once, I feel he owes me some from the summer.
I don't know why I played it either without thinking it through for problems, but I was in a hurry to get out of the house and saw it on the last web page before I shut down.
