GC has been very good to me and the customer service is excellent. I love when people like Fireholder comes in to a forum UNDER A BRAND NEW NAME and stirs it up.... Don't you think if you came in under your established posting name your post would be taken more serious?

      krackman,

That would be a negative, which is why a first-timer was used.

        Offshore Snoop.

That is the biggest bunch of BS i have ever heard, where are you located?

I am sure that Any Bank that GC sports uses is offshore (if not then they are complete morons) second, all offshore accounts are "completely private".

Do you honestly think the people on this site are that STUPID?
But even if that wasn't the case... you bring up this gem

        QUOTE:
my bank is affilated with the corresponding bank that Grand Central uses

a bank "correspondent of the affiliate" (whatever that is) would NEVER know how much money is in any of their "corresponding affiliates" (god that sounds even dumber when you type it out) bank.

Who are you and what have they done with your brain?

I have had good experiences with Grand Central Sports. Once when there were banking problems in Nevis, they went well out of their way to make things right without knowing who I was or me having to ask even ONCE.

You can tell the pretenders from the real deal. These guys are the real deal. They care about their customers and they go out of their way to treat them right.

They are a good book in an area I am the most comfortable with right now, Curacao. I recommend these guys strongly.

You get what you give and these guys treated me very well without asking.

So would you guys recommend betwindows as well? I see they offer a sports pager and 10% back on your net losses which hopefully won't come in handy!!

              Mojo,

Concerning the post you are referring too, that has been totally cleared up and to this day that gentleman remains a customer here.

              Phaedrus,

The bank that issues our checks have corresponding banks in the U.S. Grand Central does not bank in the U.S.! Grand Central simplys instructs our offshore bank to cut a bank check in the customer's name and send it to the customer. In some metropolitan area of the U.S. there are branches of this particular bank. Again, it is the bank's check and not a Grand Central check.

              AZBOB,

The first weekend of the NFL we did have connection problems but all has been repaired and we do not forsee anymore connection problems on the weekends.

I truly appreciate Krackman, Boomer, AZbob, sportshobby, underdog, Stymie, JD, offshore snoops and others remarks. Either you guys are all schills or we must be doing something right.

              Good Luck

              Peter

                  phaedus,

When we were using the Bank of Nevis, their checks had the BANK OF NEW YORK logo on them. That was the corresponding bank. If this guys personal bank was the Bank of New York or an affilliate, then there you have it. Our new checks have the Barclay Bank logo on them. Dude, lighten up, you don't know everything.

If you are going to pay in US Dollars and not local currency, then you usually have a corresponding bank

                    Intheknow and Peter from GCS

Perhaps i wasn't that clear in my post.

MY point WASN'T that offshore books have affiliate bank cheques issued.

My point was [b] there was no way in hell any of these affiliates would be able to tell how much money is the account /[b]

This guy Offshore Snoop said that he was told by his bank in the US that GC had an 8 figure balance.

That was my point, i can get a draft from any sportsbooks payable on a US bank (obviously) but there is no WAY IN HELL that the corresponding bank (whose name is on the cheque) will be able to know how much money is in that sportsbooks account.

Heck the Cheque would clear directly from the Offshore Banks account, not the sportsbooks account.

So Offshore Snoops statement that "my bank lady told me that Grand Central had an 8 figure account balance" is absolute BS.

                    That was my point...

Does that mean that if i were to go to a bank of new york branch (then) or a Barclay branch (now) that they would be able to tell me how much money is in your account?

Of course not, yet this is what offshore snoop implies...

                            Phaedrus,
Not one word of what I said was BS. The lady at the bank told me point blank that Grand Central had an 8 figure balance. I just got another Grand Central check today for 43 hundred dollars. I will cash it Monday. What makes you an expert on international banking anyway? I don't post here often and this is why.

Has GCS fixed their time out problem? I remember it was a pain to have to re-log in after 3 minutes or so. Was that taken care of since then?

                                Jacmar,

The time out problem was resolved months ago when you suggested we change this via an e-mail and telephone call. Our site only times out if there is a line move and if you click on update lines prior to making a wager, the site will not time out even after a line move.

                                Hope this helps,

                                Peter
