Bonuses?

I've always wondered this.
With several sportsbooks, they offer quite the generous sign-up and referral bonuses.
So hypothetically, if one was to refer a friend who opened up with a large amount, are both bonuses applied? That is, the one that signed up and the one that referred the player. Also, is their a cap on bonuses?
I think that this is a legitimate question as word circulates around pretty fast if one is into sports betting.

If a Sportsbook offers you 20 % sign up bonuses and 10 % on buddy referral, both should apply.
However some restrictions apply. For example, in order to request a payout, some books require a re up in your account to consider those bonuses as cash.Without a re up, you should consider those bonuses as a free matchplay.
Sometimes policies change from book to book.
